The cover 7 of the book has a guide rail 8 in the form of a flat C on the inside of its back, into which the slide 6 can be drawn for the purpose of connecting the book and cover.

To secure the book in the retracted position, on the one hand by means of a small NEN, riveted to the guide rail 8 support under the influence of the spring 10, hinged stop 11 is hinged to the guide rail, while on the other hand, the end of the rail 8 to one fixed stop 12 is bent.

This design is mainly suitable for books that have to lie flat when open, such as college notebooks, commission books, delivery books, sketch books, agendas and the like.

The detail variant according to FIG. 3 shows a book with page stitching; whose back is also provided with a slider 6 formed from part of the order, which can be drawn into the guide rail 8 of the cover 7.

This version is particularly suitable for books with quizzes, such as report, travel, order and invoice books etc.

Fig. 5 shows in place of the slider 6 a sewn on the back of the book rail 9, for example made of cardboard be standing.

The use of the book block described is. readily apparent from Fig. t, so that it is left out of the description.

The designated and described book bloek offers the advantage of quick and cheap production and great ease of use.
