The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in FIGS. 1, 2, 4, 6 and 7, as well as individual variants in FIGS. 3 and 5.
According to Fi.g. 1 and 2, the individual layers 1, 2 etc. of the book are provided with staples 3, 4 on the spine and -the whole thing is striped with the help of gauze (not shown) and glued to a cover.

The cover 7 of the book has a guide rail 8 in the form of a flat C on the inside of its back, into which the slide 6 can be drawn for the purpose of connecting the book and cover.
To secure the book in the retracted position, on the one hand by means of a small NEN, riveted to the guide rail 8 support under the influence of the spring 10, hinged stop 11 is hinged to the guide rail, while on the other hand, the end of the rail 8 to one fixed stop 12 is bent.
