Description

Process for the production of drawer sheets for duplication purposes. Stencil blood for the quadrupling of typewriter or handwriting, drawings or the like, consist of a fibrous, porous paper, preferably the so-called Japanese paper, which receives a color-impermeable coating that can be penetrated by the typewriter, stylus or writing wheel.

Up until now, this base was most easily made from wax mixtures. The stencil sheet thus obtained has the great disadvantage of being sensitive to creasing and especially to the effects of heat. Furthermore, a very large number of prints cannot be made with it.

In this regard, improved stencil sheets are obtained using certain protein substances, particularly gelatin; who then have to undergo a hardening process with various hardening agents. At the same time, glycerine or similar emollient substances that are soluble in water are added to soften the coagulated gelatine layer.

However, these stencil sheets also have a major disadvantage, namely that the individual sheets must be moistened before they are used, since. Without this handling it is not cut through by the typewriter type or the stylus. Due to this moistening, the iron machine parts suffer greatly, apart from the fact that the method is a cumbersome one for the consumer.

By adding soaps instead of glycerine one tries to avoid moistening; But these stencil sheets are also made using hardened gelatine and after the hardening process, heating is required for the purpose of converting soluble ammonia soaps into the free, insoluble fatty acids.

Stencil sheets can also be obtained by impregnating the aforementioned Japanese paper with inorganic or organic cellulose esters to which oils, preservatives, fatty acids or similar substances must be added to make them pliable. As a result of the use of the corresponding solvents, their manufacture is a , bL r an expensive and 2n -aahrliehe.

The present invention is based on a material that has not yet been used for this purpose, in that oils or fats of mineral, animal or vegetable nature are emulsified with a casein solution and applied to the Japanese paper in a suitable manner. After the solvent has evaporated, the duplicating paper is ready.

The mixture can also be colored with various organic or organic dyes in order to achieve a better identification of the written boluen in a known manner.

The following serve as an exemplary embodiment for carrying out the invention: A suitable solution for impregnating the Japanese paper is emulsified 1 kg of olive oil with 1 kg of a ten percent alkaline solution of water. For this purpose 0.8 kg barviweiss (blanc-fixe) are added and the whole is brought to 3.5 kg with water.

The Japanese paper is either dipped in this mixture or the mixture is applied to the Japanese paper with brushes or the like.
