Loading device for firing systems. The present invention relates to a charging device for firing systems and consists in the fact that the fuel is not poured onto the grate in front of the stoking plate, as was previously the case, but onto the grate just in front of the fire, and through wings mounted in a longitudinally displaceable frame 0, gcg _ # n the front wall of the boiler is pushed back and at the same time leveled and fanned through.
In the drawing, the subject invention is shown in an exemplary Ausfüh approximately. namely, Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section. the furnace, Fig. 2 a plan view of this, Fig. 3 the front view of the drive device with removed housing, Fig. 4 and 5 details to A bb. 3, Fig. 5 being shown on a larger scale, Fig. 6 a cross section along the line a. -B in Fig. 1, and Fig. 7 a cross section along the line c-d in Fig. 1.
The combustion system shown is shown when used on a flame tube boiler, but can be used in any other type of boiler. In the flame tube 1, the usual pipe rods 2, as well as the front of the fire plate 3 and the fire bridge 27 are provided.
At the free rear end of the frame 8 in which the wings 11 formed in a known manner are mounted, a tiltable container 28 is provided which is superimposed in the frame 8 by means of the pin 29 ge. The tie rods 12 which actuate the wings 11 and run on both sides of the frame grip the container 28 in the manner of a crank and also pivot the same simultaneously with the wings 11.
The container 28 is connected to a further wing 30 which can be displaced in vertical slots and which, when the frame is fully extended, comes to rest just behind the fire bridge 27 on a rear firing plate 3 'and completely scrapes the discharged fuel from this plate 3'.
Above the container 28, a grid-like transverse wall 32 supported by supports 31 is also provided on the frame 8, which prevents the fuel from being thrown out of the fire bridge 27. Furthermore, the container 28 has rollers 33 on the side facing away from the fire bridge 27.
Below the container 28, a knife roller 35 is mounted on the frame 8 by means of bearing brackets 34, which has the purpose of cutting through the fuel appropriately and loosening any slag that may be present. The shaft of the knife roller 35 protrudes on both sides out of the frame and there itself has support rollers 36 which serve to guide the entire frame 8.
A guide roller 37 is provided in the front wing 11, which rests on the front fire plate 3 and, when the frame 8 is pushed out of the combustion chamber, rolls up onto a roadway which is beveled in steps 92, 93, 94 and thereby fronts it Wing, as well as by means of the pull rod 12 also all other wings 11 together with the container 28 gradually pivoted simultaneously into the upper position (arrow direction I).
The middle horizontal part 93 of the steps can be adjusted in height by means of a screw including a handwheel 39 in order to be able to regulate the height of the fuel as required, as will be described in detail later. On the front face of the R, suspect 8 support rollers 26 are also provided, which rest on the fixed rails 40 and can move the entire frame device to and fro on the same.
Furthermore, there are hooks on the front face of the frame 41, which are hooked into a cross rod 42 connecting the tie rods 12, and this hooking will take place when the tie rod 12 moves upwards in the direction of arrow II due to the pivoting of the wings 11 upwards be moved, so that.ss .these hooks 41 can fall down on the crossbar 42 by their own weight and the Zugstaub gene 12 hold in this position.
The hooks 41 have an upwardly projecting nose 43 which abut against a stationary roller 44 and are thereby lifted or respectively. the cross rod 42 and thereby also the pull rod 12 give free.
Furthermore, the front face of the frame 8 is fastened to a chain 46 by means of a suitable clamping device, which chain runs over two stationary chain wheels 47. On the shaft of the chain wheel facing away from the furnace 4 7, a worm wheel 48 is present, which engages in a Sehneeke 49. On the front end of the tendon shaft there is a bevel gear 50, which comes to rest between two further bevel gears 51, 52.
These two bevel gears 51, 52 are on the actual drive shaft 53 respectively loose. freely rotatable ge and have mutually opposing, correspondingly formed claws 54, 55.
Between these two. Bevel gears 51, 52 is .on the) head 53 by means of tongue and groove a claw sleeve 56 is present, which is longitudinally displaceable on the same and rotatable with the same. At one end of the drive shaft 53 is the solid and empty disk 57 for driving the entire device.
The claw sleeve 56 has in the middle an annular groove in which a pin 58 engages. This pin 58 is attached to an arm 59 which is mounted on the shaft 60. A double-arm lever 61 is mounted on the same shaft 60, and the other end of the pin 58 engages in a longitudinal eye 62 of this lever 61. At its upper end, this double-armed lever 61 has a slide 63 in which a counterweight 64 can move back and forth.
The lower arm of the lever 61 engages in a fork 65, which can be pivoted by a connecting rod 66 and thereby pivots the upper arm of the lever either to one side or the other, whereby the pin 58 is taken along and the claw sleeve 56 couples either to a bevel gear 51 or to the bevel gear 52, so that the bevel gear 50 is driven either by the bevel gear 52 in the opposite direction.
This movement is transmitted directly to the worm 49, which sets the worm wheel 48 in motion. It will therefore rotate the sprocket 47 either in one or the other direction, depending on whether the bevel gears 51 or 52 are switched on and the frame 8 connected to the chain 46 move either into the furnace or out of the furnace should.
This back and forth movement takes place automatically as a result of striking the frame mens 8 on lugs 67, 68 attached to the tie rod 66, in such a way .da.ss, as soon as the outer end face of the frame strikes the nose 68, the tie rod 66 a ge white piece is dragged along and the fork 65 is pivoted so that @ the chain gear is switched on for the opposite direction of movement.
As soon as the frame 8 hits the nose 67, this is also taken along a little when the same moves back and switches off the bevel gear so that the frame remains in the., - It pushed out position. The activation of the chain gear for the insertion of the frame is done by its own trained, also if automatically acting Reguliervorrich device.
This regulating device consists of a ratchet wheel 69, in which a pawl 70 engages, which is connected on the one hand to the radial arm 71 and on the other hand to the pull rod 72. In addition to the existing teeth, the ratchet wheel 69 has two larger teeth 96 and 97.
The pull rod 72 is articulated eccentrically on a disk 73, which receives its movement from a worm 74 and worm wheel 75 provided on the drive shaft 53. Due to the back and forth movement of the pull rod 72, the pawl 70 is switched on and off in the ratchet wheel and sets it in rotation. On the axis of the ratchet wheel, a non-circular disk 76 is provided, which is firmly coupled to the ratchet wheel 69 and rotates with the same. The upper arm of the lever 61 is supported against this disk 76 by sl-hand.
As long as the round part of the disc 76 lies on the lever 61, the same is prevented from pivoting out and switching on the clutch, so that during this time the charging device stands still outside the furnace. But as soon as the flattened part of the disk 76 comes to the lever when Dre hung, the counterweight can now come fully into effect. The lever 61 is therefore pivoted, which results in a displacement of the claw sleeve 56 against the wheel 51, so that it is kup pelt with the main shaft and the bevel gear 50 together. moved the feed mechanism.
This movement continues until the frame 8 hits the nose 68 of the pull rod 66, whereby the fork 65 pivots the lower part of the lever 61, in such a way that the claw sleeve 56 is again uncoupled from the gear 51 and moves with it the gear wheel 52 couples, so that here by immediately, the return movement of the frame takes place.
Each individual coupling of the claw sleeve 56 with the gear 51 BEZW. the resulting rotation of the bevel wheel 51 always causes a shift of this frame in the furnace, the grate always being charged with fresh fuel in such a way that the container 28 in which the fuel is poured through the filling box 19 at the end its movement as previously described to tip over and the fuel just pours out at the fire bridge 27.
It should be mentioned here, -that all wings 11, as well as the container 28, respectively, in the upper position. remain horizontal until the hook 41 with its nose 43 hits the fixed roller 44 and is thereby pivoted upwards into the position shown in Fig. 1, so that it releases the crossbar 42 of the pull rod 12, whereby all the wings 11, and also the container 28 tilt downwards due to its own weight.
After this overturning, the frame 8 is abutted against the noses of the tie rods 66 so that with the aid of the Gab-1 (; 5 the previously operated clamping takes place and the frame is now pushed out of the frame.
With this pushing out, the wing 3 (t of the container 28 will first of all take the completely poured out fuel from the fire plate 3. with it so that this plate will be completely empty, tim will be ready for the next pour out ,
Were the wings 11 left on the grate? completely and during this @ üclbewebunb they will clean and scrape it off and free it of the aiibebaclzeneii slag.
As soon as the roller 37 of the last wing 11 is concerned about the first part 9 2 of the roadway 38, a simultaneous partial pivoting of all wings, as well as: the container? 8 or. a lift = derscll @ cn from the grate upwards.
The wings 11 remain in this corrected position as long as the roller 37 is on the horizontal part 93 of the roadway during its kn LI, and will level the fuel lying on the grate.
Since this part 9 3 see through the spindle including 1-landrt-, d can be adjusted in different hifien, the layer height of the fuel can also be adjusted in this way.
During the further movement, the roller will move onto the further cut-off 91, and as a result all the fluids will be diverted to the top shelf, in which they no longer touch the fuel and will continue to be pushed out of the frame 8 in this Labe ben remain.
There. If the pull rod 12 has lifted the wing 11 accordingly through this pivoting, the hook .t1 will snap into the connecting rod of the pull rod 19 and the same, as well as the wing 11

The ratchet wheel 69 has therefore performed a smaller rotation than would correspond to the movement of the pawl 70 and the rotation of the ratchet wheel and thus also the non-circular disc 76 is accordingly slowed down so that the frame 8 is longer, Time outside the furnace at rest, c # r remains. Only when the pawl 70 abuts one of the larger teeth 96, the Klin kenrad. make a correspondingly larger rotation without interruption.
The teeth 96 are now arranged at such a point of the wheel that when the pawl 70 engages in one of these teeth 96, the non-circular disc 76 is pivoted with its flattening on the lever 61, while the one attacked the other tooth 97 a distance the flattening of the lever 61 concerned. The purpose of these teeth 96 is to achieve a precise and safe position of the flattening of the non-round disk 76 relative to the lever 61, while the tooth 97 causes the lever 61 to pivot quickly and suddenly out of the coupled position.
By setting the gate 77, the duration of the interruption of the back and forth movement of the frame can therefore be regulated as required, which can also be used to regulate the accumulation of the fuel on the grate.
The worm wheel 75; which is operated by the worm 74 of the drive shaft 53, is connected to a chain or the like wheel 79 and drives this by means of the chain or the like 80 a toothed gear 81 au. By this gear 81 a running below the frame guide in bearings 82 shaft 83 is set in rotation ver.
This shaft 83 is connected to a screw conveyor 84, which runs beneath the grate 2 and has the purpose of conveying the fallen ash out of the ash trap. As shown in Fig. 6, the lower part of the flame tube, which forms the ash fall, can be narrowed by inserts in order to enable the ash to be removed thoroughly by the auger. The screw 84 is closed against the firing by a sleeve 85 which has lateral openings 86.
The ash is pressed into this can and falls through the side openings into the ash and slag chamber 87, the bottom of which is provided with a grate flap 88. In addition, this ash chamber 87 is in direct connection with the front part of the furnace, and how the slag scraped from the last wing 11 fall through the channel 87 formed here. Since enough air enters this chamber through the grate 88, the ashes and slag not yet burned will burn in the same further, and the combustion gases will develop through the channel 89 into the actual furnace and support the same.
The air is supplied to the furnace. Exclusively below the grate through duct 95.
The whole. Charging device is, as soon as it is pulled out of the furnace, clad in a housing 90, wel Ches, for the purpose of controlling the course, from, liftable flaps BEZW. Has peepholes. Of course, the entire drive mechanism is also enclosed in a housing 91.
This charging device closes the entire furnace chamber of the boiler to the outside completely, and since it never has to be opened, false air cannot penetrate into the furnace chamber, which is why the furnace will have a very good efficiency. In addition, it is not necessary to operate this furnace, since all work, that is the pouring of fuel, the crushing and stoking of the same, leveling to a certain layer height, as well as purification and ash removal, is completely automatic.
In the drawing shown, a charging device on a fire tube boiler with normal air supply is Darge, but this charging device can of course be used for any type of boiler and also for underwind firing, whereby only one wind tube has to be led to the ash chamber. Of course, this charging device can also be used for trough grates or the same application, and the wings will be angled to match the troughs.
Of course, instead of the entire drive mechanism, an electric motor can also be provided, which is set up in such a way that it works clockwise and counterclockwise by appropriate switching and hereby causes the frame to move back and forth.
