Description

  

  Binde zur     sehnellen    Herstellung eines Wundverbandes.    Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfin  dung bildet     eitle    Binde zur schnellen Herstel  lung eines     :Wundverbandes.    Diese Binde be  steht aus einem dünnen, elastischen Band,  welches wenigstens all einzelnen Stellen luft  durchlässig ist und auf dem einen, etwas  verbreiterten Ende eine Kompresse zum Auf  legen auf die Wunde trägt.

   Durch die Elasti  zität des Bandes ist die Möglichkeit gegeben,  nach Umwickeln desselben um das verletzte  Glied und     nachherigem    Umlegen des äussern  Randes der letzten Lage diese zu einer ring  artigen Wulst     hochzurollen,    wodurch der Ver  band ohne irgendwelche andere Mittel in  seiner Gebrauchslage festgehalten     werden    kann.  



  In der Zeichnung, welche ein Ausführungs  beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dar  stellt, ist       Fig.1    eine Draufsicht auf die ausgestreckte  Binde,       Fig.    2 eine Ansicht der Binde in der An  wendung an einem Finger, und       Fig.    3 ein Querschnitt durch die gewickelte  Binde.  



  Nach     Fig.    1 der Zeichnung besteht die  Binde aus einem dünnen, aus elastischem    Material, zum Beispiel Gummi, bestehenden  Band     cz,    das sich von einem Ende nach dem  andern hin etwas verbreitert und am breiteren  Ende eine zum Beispiel abwechselnd aus  Mull und Zellstoff bestehende, aufgeklebte  Kompresse     b    trägt.  



  Die Binde a ist bei d mehrfach durch  locht, um die Ausdünstung. des von der Binde       umwickelten    Gliedes möglichst aufrecht zu  erhalten.  



  Zum Gebrauch- kann     Fig.    2 die Binde,  nachdem die Kompresse auf die Wunde ge  legt worden ist, in einer Schraubenwindung  mehrfach um das verletzte Glied gewickelt  und die letzte Wicklung nach dem Umlegen  ihres äussern Randes zu einer ringförmigen  Wulst c hochgerollt werden, in der das freie  Bandende eingerollt ist,     wodurch    der Ver  band ohne weitere Hilfsmittel geschlossen  gehalten wird.  



  Statt eines an einzelnen Stellen     durchloch-        -          ten    Bandes. könnte zum Beispiel auch ein  aus porösem     Stoff    bestehendes Band Anwen  dung finden und statt durch ein Klebemittel  könnte die Kompresse auch auf andere Weise  auf dem Band befestigt sein.
