Description

Elastic link for hemostasis. The object of the present invention is an elastic link for hemostasis, characterized in that one of its ends forms a loop. It is intended for the ligation of a limb required in particular by intravenous injections, phlebotomy or hemorrhage.

To perform a ligature, it is necessary to turn the member by this link by passing the end of the latter through its loop like a noose and pull moderately on this end.

To stop the compression at a given moment, it suffices to let go of the free end, which has the effect that the slip knot spontaneously comes apart by virtue of its elasticity.

This device eliminates the need for the assistance of an assistant and makes it possible, in the absence of the latter, to untie the ligature of a limb without displacement, of the doctor or of the patient's movements, an essential condition for a good intravenous injection.

The appended drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the present invention.

Fig. 1 is a front view; Fig. 2 is a side view; Fig. 3 shows the section of the loop along line a-b of fig. 1; Fig. 4 shows the section of the link following line c-d of fig. 1.

CLAIM Elastic link for hemostasis, characterized by the fact that one of its ends forms a loop, in order to avoid the need for the assistance of an assistant, in order to be able to untie the ligature of a limb without movements of the doctor or movements of the patient.
