Cette forme d'exécution comporte un corps métallique a comprenant .de bas en haut une partie rectangulaire b formant un cadre ou vert à son extrémité inférieure, une partie triangulaire inclinée c ayant une section hori zontale rectangulaire et servant .de réservoir, pour la matière dont le plancher sera enduit, une tubulure d qui permet de remplir le ré servoir c et sur --laquelle un manche: x peut être enfilé;
Pour encaustiquer un- parquet, on procède par exemple comme suit: On enlève le manche x et on remplit le réservoir c d'encaustique, puis on remet ce manche x en place. L'encaustique passe du réservoir e dans l'auge g avec une vitesse qu'on règle à l'aide de la vis r, imbibe les couches l et le, feutre k du tampon k-1, on enlève alors- le corps a de l'auge s et on fait aller et venir sur le plancher ou le parquet ce tampon k-l qui dépose au fur et à mesure une partie de .l'encaustique qu'il contient;
Device for the maintenance of floors, parquet floors, etc. The object of the invention is an apparatus for the maintenance of floors, piaxquets, mosaics, linoleums.
It comprises, like other devices known for the maintenance of floors, quets, etc., a container intended to contain a material with which the floor, the parquet must be coated. But it differs from it by the fact that the receptacle carries a trough which it supplies with material and which in turn carries a buffer used to spread on the floor, parquet, etc., the material that the trough provides. .
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the apparatus.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal vertical section along the line I-I of FIG. 2, and fig. 2 a transverse vertical section not through the line II-II of FIG. 1.
This embodiment comprises a metal body a comprising .from the bottom up a rectangular part b forming a frame or green at its lower end, an inclined triangular part c having a rectangular horizontal section and serving .de reservoir, for the material the floor of which will be coated, a pipe d which allows the tank c to be filled and on which a handle: x can be threaded;
the tubing d- is closed by an elastic stopper f. - Parts b, c, the -tu bulure d came from manufacture with each other. - A metal trough g, partially housed in the frame b, is suspended from the body a by screws h with knurled head i and is. pierced at its lower part with holes j through which passes the material with which the floor will be coated.
Under the trough g is a pad formed by a relatively thick piece k of a permeable material such as felt, sheet; it is nilaiiù @ enu in place by two thin layers of a permeable material l such as canvas passing under it and going around the trough; the two layers penetrate inside the trough under the action of a metal strip m. placed in this trough and being in contact with a longitudinal rib n of the lower wall o of the tank c.
By acting on the screws h, the trough g is brought closer or less to this wall o, the strip m is pushed more or less into said trough g and more is stretched. or less both Z layers.
In the wall o is formed a vertical channel p terminating in a horizontal channel q opening onto the two faces of the rib n and bringing the material from the reservoir into the trough; the section of the p-channel can be adjusted using a screw r forming a needle and movable from the outside.
When you are not using the device shown, you can place your body a on a metal trough s. For this purpose, the body a is provided with an elastic gasket t of circular section which has a double purpose: to ensure a relatively tight seal between the body a and the receptacle s, e # prevents: that this body does not collide; directly from other bodies, when using the device.
To polish a parquet, one proceeds for example as follows: The handle x is removed and the tank c is filled with polish, then this handle x is put back in place. The encaustic passes from the tank e into the trough g with a speed that is adjusted using the screw r, soaks the layers l and the, felt k with the pad k-1, then the body a is removed of the trough s and one makes come and go on the floor or the parquet this buffer kl which deposits as and when part of the encaustic which it contains;
during this back and forth movement, the trough p bears laterally on. frame b through buffer k-1. .
There can be multiple p-channels, instead of just one.
The apparatus can also be - "used - for oiling, waxing, blocking (ie giving the last polish) parquet, floors.
