Description

  

  Garn.    Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Garn,  welches insbesondere zur Hutfabrikation be  stimmt ist, und bei dem der     Fadenkern    von  einem Streifen aus Glanzstoff umsponnen  ist. Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung ist nun  der Bernfaden aus Papier hergestellt. Da  durch wird gegenüber ähnlichen Garnen aus  Hanf der Vorzug wesentlich geringerer Ko  sten erzielt, während derartige Garne mit  Baumwollkern zu weich sind und deshalb  insbesondere bei der Verarbeitung von Hü  ten nicht die nötige Formbeständigkeit auf  weisen.

   Das den Erfindungsgegenstand bil  dende neue Garn     weist    daher den Vorzug       eines    nur geringen Preises bei guter Form  beständigkeit auf, während es sich in seinen       Äussern    von den bisherigen Garnen dieser       Gattung    nicht unterscheidet.  



  Die beiliegende Zeichnung zeit ein Aus  führungsbeispiel des     Erfindungsgegenstan-          des.    Dabei ist     a,    der aus zwei zusammenge  zwirnten Papierfaden bestehende Kernfaden    und b die aus einem flachen     Zelluloidstreifen     bestehende     Umspinnung.     



  Natürlich ist die Erfindung nicht auf  das dargestellte Beispiel beschränkt, sondern  es sind auch Abänderungen möglich, ins  besondere können die Farbe und Dicke des  Garnes, sowie die Breite des Umhüllungs  streifens beliebig gewählt sein. Ferner kann  die     Umspinnung,    statt wie beispielsweise an  gegeben aus Zelluloid, auch aus einem andern  Glanzstoff bestehen.



  Yarn. The invention relates to a yarn which is particularly suitable for hat manufacture, and in which the core of the thread is wrapped in a strip of glossy fabric. According to the present invention, the amber thread is now made from paper. Because compared to similar yarns made of hemp, the advantage of significantly lower Ko costs is achieved, while such yarns with a cotton core are too soft and therefore do not have the necessary dimensional stability, especially when processing huts.

   The new yarn forming the subject of the invention therefore has the advantage of only a low price with good dimensional stability, while it does not differ in its appearance from the previous yarns of this type.



  The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. Here, a is the core thread consisting of two paper threads twisted together and b is the wrapping consisting of a flat celluloid strip.



  Of course, the invention is not limited to the example shown, but modifications are also possible, in particular the color and thickness of the yarn and the width of the envelope strip can be chosen as desired. Furthermore, instead of, for example, celluloid, the wrapping can also consist of another luster material.

PATENT CLAIM: Yarn, in particular for hat production, consisting of a core thread, which is covered with a strip of luster material, characterized in that the core thread is made from paper.
