Automatic storage device for liquids. In the previously known automatic storage machines for liquids, the liquid flowing out of the line is collected in a memory. The liquid flowing into the storage tank is opened and closed by a float valve. The float valves have the major disadvantage that parts of the float are directly in the liquid and other parts are exposed to the moist air in the float box. Due to the chemical components in the liquid, the parts of the swimmer in the liquid are often attacked in a short time; the parts outside of the liquid but in the swimming pool are attacked by the moist air.
This disrupts the function of the float as a shut-off valve and the storage tank begins to "run", that is, the storage vessel no longer collects the inflowing liquid, but the liquid flows continuously to and from the storage tank. Waste of liquid is the consequence, a sufficient accumulation of the liquid in the storage is not possible and the purpose of the storage is unsuccessful. Frequent and costly repairs are the further consequence.
The present invention is intended to avoid these disadvantages. The invention is based on the fact that a movable liquid storage device itself serves as a regulating weight for opening and closing the inlet valve to the storage device.
The invention is shown on the drawings in various exemplary embodiments.
FIG. 1 shows the reservoir of one liquid machine almost empty, FIG. 2, on the other hand, filled; Figures 3-7 show details of other examples.
The automatic liquid storage device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 works as follows: As soon as liquid is removed from the memory ca by means of the drain cock 1, the weight of the memory a is reduced and the same is increased by the weight b by means of the roller c and the chain d drawn.
The roller c is inevitably connected to the line inflow valve e of the liquid pipe f.
As a result of the rotation of the roller c that takes place, the valve e is opened and the liquid flows into the memory ra and through the pipe k to the drain cock 1. If the drain cock 1 (FIG. 2) is closed, the memory a fills with the The liquid draws in and finally pulls up the weight b by its own weight, while the roller c rotates and the inlet valve e closes.
The weight b can be adjusted by filling the weight z so that it comes into operation depending on the liquid level in the reservoir cc and thus causes the inlet valve e to close or open automatically.
The memory a and the weight b are guided by the guide pieces na, mi, 7a2 and ms.
The valve n is used to shut off the liquid or to put the machine out of action.
In order to prevent the inlet valve e from opening and closing too slowly, the roller c is given the shape of an ellipse instead of a circle according to FIG. 3 and Scc. Due to the shape of an ellipse, the translation, that is to say the initial and final rotation of the valve is accelerated in the position according to FIG. 3 and slowed down in the position of the roller according to FIG. 3ca as soon as the valve is sufficiently open.
Fig. 4 shows an embodiment in which the supply valve e is opened and closed by a lever arm o actuated by the memory by means of a chain and gear ratios p and pi.
The weight q is used to regulate the leverage. 5, 6 and 7 show an embodiment in which the inflow valve e is opened quickly by 2 gear wheels and segments of gear wheels with different transmission speed circuits, remains open as desired, and is quickly closed again. The gear segments s and si (Fig. A and 7) show the position when the inflow valve e is opened and closed at an accelerated rate.
Here the gear segments r and ri (Fig. 5 and 6) are switched off. They intervene as soon as the inflow valve is quickly and sufficiently opened by the rotation of the segments s and si, and with a different transmission ratio they open the valve more slowly until the valve is fully opened.
