Description


  Alliage blanc inoxydable.    La présente invention a pour objet un  alliage blanc inoxydable, malléable, prenant       un    très beau poli et utilisable en particulier  <B>à</B> la fabrication d'articles de robinetterie  (levant     re'sister   <B>à</B> une haute pression.  



  Il est composé des métaux suivants:       euivre,    nickel, zinc, plomb, étain, manganèse,  magnésium et chrome, la proportion du cuivre  étant comprise entre<B>30</B> et     701/o,    celle du       nickel        entre   <B>5</B>     et        25%,        celle        du        zinc        entre          20        et        60        0/0,

          celle        du        plomb        entre   <B>5</B>     et        20        %          et        celle        de        l'étain        entre        0,100        et        5,0%.     



  Le manganèse, le magnésium et le chrome  sont ajoutés     ci)    quantités relativement petites.  Cet alliage petit remplacer les alliages  blancs, tels que ceux qui sont connus soirs  la dénomination d'acier inoxydable,     alpaca,     maillechort, argentan,     etc.

    On fond des alliages commerciaux de       cupronickel,        cupromanganèse    et du chrome  en calculant les quantités<B>à</B> employer,     d'api-ès     les proportions de métaux     Cri,    Ni, Mn et     Cr,        que     doit contenir le produit final. On ajoute  ensuite le<B>Mg,</B> le     Pb,    le     Sn    et le     Zn.    Comme  fondant on emploie de     pràférence    le     borax.  

Claims (1)

  1. REVENDICATION Alliage blanc inoxydable, malléable, prenant un très beau poli, et utilisable cri particulier<B>à</B> la fabrication d'articles<B>de</B> robinetterie devant résister<B>à</B> une haute pression, caractérisé, en ce qu'il est composé des métaux suivants:
    cuivre, nickel, zinc, plomb, étain, manganèse, magnésium et chrome, la proportion du cuivre étant coni- prise entre 30- et 70 %, celle du nickel entre 5,0 et 25 %, celle du zinc entre 20,
    0 et 60,0"/o, celle du plomb entre 5,0 et 20% et celle de l'étain entre 0,100 et 5,0 %, le manganèse, le magnésium et le chrome étant ajoutés en petites quantités.
