Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines violetten Küpenfarbstoffes der 2-Thionaphten-2'-indolindigor eihe. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines vio letten Küpenfarbstoffes der 2-Thionaphten- 2'-indolindigoreihe der Formel:

den man durch Kondensation von 5.6.7 Trichlor - 8 - oxy -1- thionaphten mit einer reak tionsfähigen 4. 5. 7 - Trimethylisatin-a- verbindung erhält. Trocken ist der Farb stoff ein violett gefärbtes Pulver, das in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure blaugrün lös lich ist. Mit Natronlauge und 1:lydrosulfit gibt er eine gelbe Küpe, aus der die Faser echt violett angefärbt wird.
Beispiel 19 Gewichtsteile 4.5.7-Trimethylisatin werden in etwa 200 Gewichtsteilen Chlor benzol suspendiert und nach Zusatz von 22 Gewiehtsteilen Phosphorpentachlorid er hitzt. Die entstandene Lösung des 4.5.7-Tri- methylisatin-a-chlorids wird in eine Lösung von 25,8 Gewichtsteilen 5 . 6. 7 - Trichlor- 8-oxy-l-thionap.hten in 200 Gewichtsteilen Chlorbenzol einlaufen gelassen, wobei sich der Farbstoff sofort abscheidet.
Nach kur zem Erwärmen auf 80 bis 90 wird der Farbstoff abfiltriert, mit Alkohol gewaschen und getrocknet.

which is obtained by condensation of 5.6.7 trichloro-8-oxy -1-thionaphthene with a reactive 4.5.7-trimethylisatin-a compound. When dry, the dye is a violet-colored powder that is bluish-green in concentrated sulfuric acid. With caustic soda and 1: lydrosulfite he gives a yellow vat from which the fiber is dyed really purple.
EXAMPLE 19 parts by weight of 4.5.7-trimethylisatin are suspended in about 200 parts by weight of chlorobenzene and, after the addition of 22 parts by weight of phosphorus pentachloride, it is heated. The resulting solution of 4.5.7-trimethylisatin-a-chloride is converted into a solution of 25.8 parts by weight of 5. 6. 7 - Trichloro-8-oxy-1-thionap.hten allowed to run in 200 parts by weight of chlorobenzene, the dye separating out immediately.
After brief heating to 80 to 90, the dye is filtered off, washed with alcohol and dried.
