Description
Verfahren zur Auswaschung und Wiedergewinnung -von Essigsäuredämpfen aus Gasen oder Gasgemischen. Es ist bekannt, Essigsäure aus Dampf- beziehungsweise Gasgemischen durch Ex- traktion, mit über <B>150'</B> siedenden Stoffen, die sich in Wasser nicht oder wenig lösen, aber für Essigsäure ein starkes Lösungsvermögen besitzen,
und nachträgliche Destillation des so erhaltenen Extraktes zu ,gewinnen.
Ferner ist -die Wiedergewinnung von flüchtigen Lö:sunbsmitteln, die in Luft oder Gasen verteilt sind, durch Auswaechen des gasförmigen Gemisiches mit Flüssigkeiten, welche einen höheren Siedepunkt als das Lö- sungsmittel aufweisen, und Abdestillieren des Iäsungsmittels bekannt.
Als WaiscIflüs- sigkeiten dienen zum Beispiel Teeröle, Va- selinäle, hydrierte Naphtaline usf.
Für die Auswaschung von Essigsäure- dämpfen aus Gas :oder Gasgemischen, zum Beispiel Luft, eignet sich nun besonders eine Mischung aus einer organischen Base,, die nicht oder ischwer azetylierbar ist, wie Chi- nolin, Dimethylanilin und ähnliche und einem Kohlenwasserstoff oder Kohlenwasserstoff gemisch, wie Anthracenöl, Paraffinöl,
Spin- delöl oder andere sehr hochsiedende Kohlen wasserstoffgemische natürlicher oder künst licher Zusammenmischung aus Kohlen- oder Erdöldestillaten oder auch von der Verflüssi gung der Kohle stammend.
Zweckmässig verwendet man auf 1 Teil Base mindestens 1 Teil Ko.hlenwasiserstoffe. Aus dem Extrakt gewinnt man die aus- gewaisehene konzentrierte EsisigsäuTe durch blosse Destillation im kontinuierlichen oder diskontinuierlichen Arbeitsgang.
Bisher wurden derartige Mischungen zur Auswaschung von Essigsäure aus Gasen nicht verwendet. .Sie bieten ,gegenüber dem bilsher Bekannten den grossen Vorteil, dass bei Erhaltung normaler Temperatur keiner- lei. Verluste an durch Verflüchti- gung mit dem Gas entstehen und, @dass ,
durch die Anwendung der genannten Basen die Zu rückhaltung derEssigeuredämpfebieziehungs- weise deren Wiedergewinnung mit einfach sten Mitteln eine voblständige ist, ohne dass eine Verdünnung der Säure, wie etwa beim Auswaschen mit wässerigen Flüssigkeiten erfolgt, schliesslich dass die nötigen Wasch ölmengen infolge höchster Waschwirkung der Basen im Ölgemisch äusserst geringe sind.
