Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Oxythionaphtens. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung des 6-Methoxy- 3-oxythionaphteris, welches dadurch gekenn zeichnet ist, dass man die 4-Methoxybenzol- 1-earboxyamido-2-thioglykolsäure mit wässeri gen Alkalien erhitzt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>80</B> Gewichtsteile 4-Methoxybenzol-l-earb- oxvamino-2-thioglykolsäure werden mit<B>300</B> Gewichtsteilen Natronlauge 40' 136 auf<B>90"</B> erhitzt- man setzt noch<B>180</B> Teile Wasser hinzu und erhitzt die breiige Masse eine Stunde auf<B>100 0.</B> Die dabei vor sich gehende Entwicklung von Ammoniak hat nach dieser Zeit nachgelassen. Man löst hierauf in<B>3000</B> Teilen Wasser und gewinnt aus dieser Lösung, ohne dass die Isolierung des gebildeten 6- Methoxy-S-oxythionaphtens erforderlich wäre, durch Oxydation den 6.6'-Methoxythioindigo.-
