Schuhwerk mit Schnursohle. Bei den bisher bekannten Sommerpantof feln und Sandalen mit Sohle aus geflochte nen Schnüren, sogenannten Espadrilles, be steht der Übelstand, dass die Schnursohlen ungeschützt sind, so dass sie Staub und Kot leicht aufnehmen und daher nicht mehr gründlich gereinigt werden können. Auch sind die Schnursohlen gegenüber dem Kör pergewicht im allgemeinen zu wenig wider standsfähig, indem sie nach kurzem Tragen breiter werden und schliesslich auseinander fallen.
Bei dem den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildenden Schuhwerk sind diese Übelstände beseitigt, indem die Sehnursohle seitwärts und unten durch einen Lederüberzug ge schützt ist.
Auf der Zeiehnung ist ein Ausführungs beispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes, teil weise in Seitenansicht, teilweise im Schnitt, dargestellt.
Es bezeichnet 1 den Oberteil des gezeich neten Sommerpantoffels und 2 die Schnur- sohle, das heisst die Sohle aus geflochtenen Schnüren. Der Oberteil 1, der aus Leder oder Gewebe bestehen kann, erstreckt sich nach unten bis zur untern Kante der Schnür sohle. Um die letztere gegen Breittreten zu schützen, ist sie am Umfang noch von einem Lederstreifen 3 umgeben, an dessen untere Seite, sowie an die Unterseite der Schnür sohle eine Ledersohle 4 mit einem gegen Kälte, Wärme und Feuchtigkeit widerstands fähigen Leim angeklebt ist. Der Lederstrei fen 3 und die Ledersohle 4 bilden zusammen einen Schutzüberzug für die Schnursohle, so dass diese gegen Verunreinigung durch Staub, Kot und Nässe geschützt ist.
Die so geschützte Schnürsohle behält na turgemäss ihre Form bei und ist auch gegen Abnützung gut geschützt, weshalb ihre Le bensdauer erheblich länger ist als die einer ungeschützten Schnursohle.
Lace-up shoes.
