Description

Riemenlose Skibindung.

Strapless ski binding. The invention relates to a strapless ski binding and consists in the fact that it has two organs made of metal which encompass the edge of the shoe sole and which hold and release the ski boot by pivoting.

An embodiment of the subject invention is shown on the drawing Darge, namely: Fig. 1 is the same in side view; Fig. 2 is a plan view, Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section, Fig. 4 is a plan view without a protective plate, Fig. 5 is a cross section through the closure along the line 5-5 in Fig. 4, Fig, 6 is a cross section along the line 6 -6 in FIG. 4 and FIG. 7 is a cross section along the line 7-7 in FIG. 4.

The binding has two base plates A and B for supporting the guide plates C. The guide plates C are pivotably connected to the base plate A by screws 3. The screws 3 are screwed tightly onto the support plate A and sunk into the guide plates C with some play in order to enable the plates C to pivot smoothly. Two levers F are used to execute the pivoting movement of the guide plates C. These are pivotably connected to the guide plates by means of bolts (Fig. 4).

The bolts J connect the lever F to the turntable G, which can be pivoted by means of a key G '. In the closed position, the bolts J are pushed over the line drawn in Fig. 4 with 5-5 be. The parts of the two levers F marked in Fig. 4 with ...... determine the closed lever position. The clamped ski boot creates a counter pressure which, however, since the bolts J are pushed over the line 5-5, cannot cause the levers F to open themselves. The guide jaws D engage under the guide plates C and are connected to the plates C by means of the adjusting screws 4.

To adjust the guide jaws D for any ski boot shape adjustment slots for the screws 4 are provided in the guide plates C. The jaw position adapted to the ski boot is fixed by rivets 5. On the outer longitudinal edges, the plates C in front of the guide jaws D have bends K (Fig. 5), which protect the levers F attached below from snow. The turns L on the guide jaws D (Fig. 2, 3, 4 and 7) prevent the ski shoe from sliding upwards. They have a length that cannot hinder the required bending of the ski boot.

In order to prevent the conical shoe shape from sliding out backwards, angle plates IIVI are provided in front of the jaws D on the edge of the shoe sole. The same have on the front surfaces of the guide jaws D stop. A protective plate N is attached over the sliding guide plates C, the screws 1, 3 and 4 and the rivets 5. The protective plate N prevents snow from entering when it is open. An angle iron E fastened by screws 1 'protrudes beyond the mudguard and gives this support and the key of the turntable G guidance. The binding is mounted on the ski using screws. The entire bond can be made of any metal, such as sheet steel, light metal, etc.
