Description

  

      Verfahren    zur     Herstellung'von        Harnstof.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man bei der  katalytischen Herstellung von Harnstoff  durch Erhitzen von Ammoniak und Kohlen  dioxyd sehr vorteilhaft als Katalysatoren  Karbide     verwenden    kann. Es können zum  Beispiel die Karbide des Eisens, Titans, Si  liziums und der     Erdalkalimetalle    als Kata  lysatoren dienen. Die bei dem Verfahren an  zuwendenden Temperaturen liegen zweck  mässig oberhalb<B>250'</B> C.  



  An Stelle der reinen Gase können auch  Gemische verwendet werden, die ausser Koh  lendioxyd und Ammoniak unter den Reak  tionsbedingungen indifferente Gase enthalten.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Ein Gemisch aus 4     Volumteilen    Kohlen  säure und 10     Volumteilen    Ammoniak wird  bei etwa 500   C über     Siliziumkarbid    gelei-         tet;    in der stark gekühlten Vorlage scheidet  sich reiner Harnstoff ab.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung von Harnstoff durch Erhitzen von Kohlendioxyd und Am moniak, in Gegenwart von Katalysatoren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Kata lysatoren Karbide verwendet. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man Kohlen dioxyd und Ammoniak verwendet, die reak tionsindifferente Gase enthalten.
