Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand dieses Patentes ist ein Ver  fahren     zur    Darstellung von 7 ..8 . 7' .     8'-          Dibenzo-isoviolanthron,    das     darin    besteht,  dass man     1.4-Dichlor-8,(ss-naphtoyl)-naph-          talin    in der Hitze     mit    einem alkalischen  Kondensationsmittel behandelt.

   Man kann  diese Kondensation auch in Gegenwart von    Alkohol vornehmen, und zwar zweckmässig  in der Weise, dass man die     Rondensation    mit       Ätzkali    in Gegenwart von Alkohol bei<B>100</B>  bis 150  C durchführt.  



  Die     Farbstoffbildung    kann durch die  folgenden Formelbilder veranschaulicht wer  den.

      Der so erhaltene Farbstoff färbt Baumwolle  aus blauer     Küpe    in rein blauen Tönen an.  



       Beispiel:     500 Gewichtsteile     Atzkali    werden mit  200 Gewichtsteilen Äthylalkohol bei 100  C  gerührt. 100 Gewichtsteile     1.4-Dichlor-8-          (ss-naphtoyl)-naphtalin    werden     portionsweise     in diese Schmelze eingetragen. Die Tempera  tur der Schmelze wird zirka 7 Stunden bei       110     C gehalten und schliesslich innerhalb  einer Stunde bis auf 150  C erhöht.

   Nach der  üblichen Aufarbeitung des Reaktionsge  misches wird 7 . 8 . 7' .      & '    -     Dibenzo    -     isoviol-          anthron    erhalten, welches Baumwolle aus  blauer     Küpe    in rein blauen     Tönen    anfärbt.
