Description
Dispositif rétroviseur pour véhicules, notamment pour automobiles. L'objet de la présente invention est un dispositif rétroviseur pour véhicules, notam ment pour automobiles, comportant un miroir fixé à un support s'articulant à une pièce annulaire, cette dernière s'appuyant contre une deuxième pièce annulaire également, présentant sur son pourtour une partie sail lante à laquelle s'articule une pièce se fixant au véhicule; les deux pièces annulaires sont maintenues serrées l'une contre l'autre entre le rebord du protège-cadran d'une horloge et une pièce filetée se vissant sur la boîte cylindrique filetée de ladite horloge.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en élévation; La fig. 2 en est une vue de profil.
Le dispositif rétroviseur comporte un miroir 1 maintenu au moyen de vis 2 sur un support 3, ce dernier étant articulé à une pièce annulaire 4. Cette articulation 4 appuie contre une deuxième pièce annulaire 6 pré sentant sur son pourtour une partie sail- lante 7 à laquelle s'articule une pièce 8 permettant de fixer le dispositif au véhicule, au moyen de deux vis par exemple. Cette dernière articulation peut également être maintenue fixe par serrage de la vis 9.
Les deux pièces annulaires 4 et 6 sont maintenues serrées l'une contre l'autre entre le rebord 10 du protège-cadran de l'horloge, électrique, par exemple, 11 et une pièce file tée 12 se vissant sur la boîte cylindrique 13 de ladite horloge.
Le dispositif selon l'invention peut se démonter très rapidement et le miroir peut facilement se placer à gauche ou à droite de l'horloge 11.
Au moyen des deux articulations dont les vis 5 et 9 sont les pivots, le conducteur du véhicule peut donner au miroir une position telle qu'il puisse observer si des véhicules viennent derrière lui.

The object of the present invention is a rear-view mirror device for vehicles, in particular for automobiles, comprising a mirror fixed to a support articulated to an annular part, the latter resting against a second annular part also, having on its periphery a sail lante part to which is articulated a part fixing to the vehicle; the two annular pieces are held tight against one another between the rim of the dial protector of a clock and a threaded piece screwing onto the threaded cylindrical box of said clock.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view thereof; Fig. 2 is a side view.
The rear-view device comprises a mirror 1 held by means of screws 2 on a support 3, the latter being articulated to an annular part 4. This articulation 4 bears against a second annular part 6 having on its periphery a projecting part 7 to which articulates a part 8 making it possible to fix the device to the vehicle, by means of two screws for example. This last articulation can also be kept fixed by tightening the screw 9.
The two annular pieces 4 and 6 are held tight against each other between the rim 10 of the dial guard of the clock, electric, for example, 11 and a threaded piece 12 screwing onto the cylindrical box 13 of said clock.
The device according to the invention can be dismantled very quickly and the mirror can easily be placed to the left or to the right of the clock 11.
By means of the two joints of which the screws 5 and 9 are the pivots, the driver of the vehicle can give the mirror a position such that he can observe whether vehicles are coming behind him.
