Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines güpenfarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen wert vollen Küpenfarbstoff der Benzanthron- pyrazolanthronreihe erhalten kann, wenn man 1 Mol. Benzanthronpyrazolanthron mit mindestens 1/2 Mol. eines bromierend wirken den. Mittels in Gegenwart von ,sauren anor ganischen Verdünnungsmitteln, und von Überträgern behandelt.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff, der Analyse nach ein Monobro#mderivat, löst sich mit violetter Farbe in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure und liefert aus blauer Küpe auf Baumwolle marineblaue Färbungen von guten Echtheits eigenschaften.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 45 Teile Benzanthronpyrazolanthron wer den in 450 Teilen Chlorsulfonsäure unter Rühren gelöst. Nach Zugabe von 0,5 Tei len Jod und 10 Teilen Brom erwärmt man auf 40 C und .hält solange bei dieser Tem peratur, bis alles Brom aufgenommen ist. Dann lässt man erkalten und arbeitet in der üblichen Weise auf. An Stelle von Chlor- sulfonsäure kann man auch konzentrierte Schwefelsäure, Oleum, Phosphorsäure ete. verwenden. Statt Jod kann man zum Bei spiel Schwefel, Selen, Quecksilber, Mangan, Nickel, Antimon etc. als Überträger benüt zen.
