Description

Graphic directory. The object of the present invention is a graphic directory for guides, in the form of a booklet, such as collections of road, military, navy and aviation maps, and for city maps, notebooks, directories, catalogs. , etc., characterized in that it is printed on at least one sheet of one of the aforementioned booklets, and comprises reference boxes to each of which corresponds a sign leading to a tab which leads to a page corresponding to this on reference face.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 represents a graphic directory for a collection of geographical maps; Fig. 2 represents an alternative execution for a notebook.

The graphic repertoire according to the invention is placed, for example, inside a booklet. The graphic directory of fig. 1 st shows in reduction the map of a country divided into parts b, constituting boxes from each of which is drawn a sign c ending in a tab d, the latter leading to a page containing said part reproduced on a larger scale .

In the variant according to FIG. 2, the graphic repertoire represented schematically is made up as follows: The graphic repertoire a comprises a space b intended to receive the inscription, for example, of the title of a heading and from which the signs c each corresponding to a box start determined d intended to receive the inscription, for example, of a subtitle. These signs c each end in an on glet e which leads to the page corresponding to this subtitle.

It is obvious that, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the graphic repertoire can be applied indifferently to collections of military maps, navy, a viation, town maps, notebooks, directories, guides and catalogs, etc.

The use of the object of the invention is very simple and takes place as follows: For example, for the collection of road maps, the collection being closed; a tab drawn on the cover allows you to open it directly and arrive at said directory. As described above, the graphical repertoire includes reference surfaces or boxes. If one wants to obtain the card corresponding to the surface 17, for example, it suffices to follow the sign, in this case an arrow, leading to the corresponding tab d and open the booklet to said tab and the the desired plan is instantly obtained on a scale greater than that of the graphic directory itself.

The procedure is the same for the variant according to FIG. 2.

You can divide the map into as many surfaces or reference boxes as you want. These surfaces can be any shape and size and the number of tabs will vary to match that of the surfaces.

It is obvious that modifications can be made to the procedure described and that the application of the graphic repertoire according to the invention is not limited to the examples indicated above.
