Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes. Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes angegeben, bei dem o)<B><I>-</I></B> co'- Tetrahalogen <B>-</B> 2. 2'- dimethyl- 1.1'-dianthrachinoijyl, dargestellt zum Bei spiel durch Einwirkung von Halogen auf 2.2'-Dimethyl-1.1'-dianthrachinonyl, mit einem reduzierend wirkenden Kondensations mittel in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmit- tels mit einem pH von<B>7</B> an aufwärts behan delt wird.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man einen speziell als Zwischenprodukt für dieDarstel- lung neuer Farbstoffe brauchbaren Küpen- farbstoff erhält, wenn man o)<B>-</B> o.)'-Tetrahalogen- 2.2'-dimethyl-1.1'-dianthrachinonyl (darge stellt zum Beispiel durch Einwirkung von Halogen auf 2.2'-Dimethyl-1.1'-dianthrachi- nonyl) bei Temperaturen oberhalb<B>50' C</B> in Gegenwart von Säure mit einem reduzierend wirkenden Kondensationsmittel behandelt.
Das erhaltene Reaktionsprodukt, vermut lich ein Dioxypyranthron, löst sich in Alkalien und Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe, liefert eine violettblaue Küpe und färbt Baumwolle in olivefarbenen, nach Reinigung in blauen. Tönen, die beim Behandeln mit Säure nach Rot umschlagen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>76</B> Teile ).o)-Tetrabrom-2.2'-dimethyl- 1. <B>l-</B> dianthrachinonyl werden unter Rühren bei<B>50' C</B> in eine Suspetision von 40 Teilen Kupferspänen in<B>1000</B> Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure eingetragen. Dabei steigt die Temperatur langsam an. Man erwärmt auf 70-751> <B>C</B> und hält bei dieser Temperatur so lange, bis die Lösung rein blau geworden ist. Man saugt von überschlagenem Kupfer und eventuell vorhandenen Verunreinigungen ab, fällt den gebildetenFarbstoff durch Ein giessen in Eiswasser, saugt ab und trocknet.
