Lösevorrichtung an selbsttätigen Mittelpufferkupplungen.
Fig. 2 in der Stirnansicht ;
Fig. 3 veranschaulicht die zweite Aus- führungsform der Lösevorrichtung in Seitenansicht ;
Fig. 4 stellt die dazugehörige Stirnan- sicht dar.
Release device on automatic central buffer couplings.
The subject of the invention is a release device on automatic central buffer couplings in which the coupling heads interlock with rigid claws and the
The coupling connection is secured by locking wedges, which are inside the
Coupling heads are arranged to be slidable in the longitudinal direction and are in the
Place the locking position with their long sides next to each other.
Devices have already been created which serve to lock the loose device in the loose position. Such a device consists of a cranked rod, which is designed at one end as an eye, at its other end as a handle accessible from the car side. The rod is mounted near the handle and also hangs between the crank and the eye on a link that is attached to the carriage with an eyelet.
A push rod guided in the eye of the cranked rod and moved by it is connected to a locking member provided with a mouth-like opening. When the cranked rod is actuated by a hand lever, a semicircular attachment specially provided on the operating lever of the release device is placed in this opening.
This known device is versatile and has the disadvantage that its operation is cumbersome because the handwheel for the release device of the clutch and the hand lever of the special device for holding the release device must be operated almost simultaneously to lock the release member of the central buffer coupling in the release position the hand lever is not immediately next to the handwheel.
In contrast, the release device according to the invention is distinguished by its simplicity. According to the invention, a locking device is arranged on the vehicle side in the immediate vicinity of the handwheel, which allows the handwheel to be held arbitrarily in the position in which the movable parts of the clutch assume their release position.
The handwheel can be locked in different ways. For example, a member provided with a detent can be adjustably arranged on the handwheel, in the detent of which a pawl loaded by a weight can fall; the handwheel itself can also be provided with protrusions against which the pawl rests. In this way, a special operating lever for locking the loose link in the loose position can be dispensed with, since in the present case a simple locking device can act directly on the handwheel of the shaft of the loose device.
The complex, multi-part suspension of the known devices is also eliminated.
The release device according to the invention is shown in the drawing in two exemplary embodiments.
Fig. 1 shows the first example of the device, which is browned on the vehicle and located in the normal position, in a side view.
Fig. 2 in the end view;
3 illustrates the second embodiment of the release device in a side view;
4 shows the associated front view.
The rotatable release lever 1 of the coupling head 2, which is burdened by a weight, is connected by a chain 3 to the shaft 4, which is mounted in the bearings 5 and 6. The weight 7 which causes the parts to be reset and which is fastened to the vehicle frame by the articulated links 8 to avoid rocking back and forth is also connected to the shaft 4 by the chain 9. The handwheel 10 is seated on the shaft 4. This handwheel 10 is provided with slots 11 according to FIG. 1 in order to be able to adjustably fasten a bar 12 which has a detent the bolt 14a is rotatably arranged.
An arm 16 rotatable about the same bolt, loaded by a weight 15, lies in the normal position-in which the pawl 14 does not engage in the detent of the bar 12-against a stop 17 of the plate 13. The pawl 14 can go so far be rotated so that it lies in the detent of the bar 12. By pivoting the arm 16, the weight 15 rests on the pawl 14 and holds it in the new position (shown in phantom in Fig. 2). The chain 18, which is fastened to the shaft 4, limits the rotation that the shaft 4 can perform under the influence of the weight 7.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the handwheel 10 is provided with various projections 19. This makes it unnecessary to attach the strip 12 because the pawl 14 can lie directly against one of the projections. In order to be able to set the wheel in rotation with a greater lever length, a lever 21 which is loosely rotatable about a pin or hook 20 and is provided with a handle 22 is provided, the lateral projection 23 of which can be brought into engagement with the projections 19 of the handwheel 10.
The action of the device is as follows:
If the clutch is to be brought into the release position, the handwheel 10 is turned clockwise. As a result, the chains 3 and 9 wind on the shaft 4 and the chain 18 from the shaft. As a result, the release lever 1 is brought into the release position and the weight 7 is raised at the same time. If the release device is now to be held in this position, in the device according to FIGS. 1 and 2 the pawl 14 is placed in the detent of the bar 1 2 and is loaded by the weight 15 of the arm 16. The hand wheel 10 is thereby held in place.
The strip 12 has been inserted and fastened in the corresponding slot 11 during assembly. A little more than one full turn of the handwheel is required to release the clutch. If the handwheel 10 would now only be turned by part of a full turn by the service personnel and would already be in this position. If the pawl are held tight, the coupling would not be released because the short rotation would not even be sufficient to tension the chain 3 taut.
In the embodiment of the device according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the pawl 14 can rest on the circumference of the handwheel when the handwheel is rotated in the sense of releasing the coupling; it then falls by itself behind one of the projections 19 and keeps the handwheel 10 locked.
If the release device locked in the release position is to be released, the weighted arm 16 and the pawl 14 are returned to the normal position, whereupon the parts return to the ready position for coupling under the influence of the weight 7.
