Lufterhitzer.
Air heater. Air heaters must be required to take up little space and be cheap to procure. The air heaters of known design mostly meet these requirements only insufficiently. They always have a heating battery through which the air conveyed by a fan connected in front of or behind is passed only once.
To achieve the necessary heating power, the heating battery must consist of many heating registers arranged next to one another; As a result, it becomes very extensive and its manufacture is expensive, because many individual tubes with manifolds have to be put together to form registers and these in turn have to be put together to form a battery, which causes high costs, especially if this assembly is done by welding, as is the case (see figure) .
The object of the invention, which enables the stated disadvantages to be eliminated, is an air heater which has a housing in which a fan is installed at one end and in which it can be seen a heating battery is located.
In the drawing, several exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely FIG. 1 shows a vertical section transverse to the fan axis of the first exemplary embodiment, FIG. 2 shows a vertical section through the fan axis this exemplary embodiment,
while FIGS. 3 and 4 show two further exemplary embodiments in the selection corresponding to FIG. 1.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a fan b is built into a housing a of rectangular cross section at one end. Furthermore, an elongated heating battery c consisting of two heating registers is arranged in the housing a in the radial direction to the fan in such a way that one end is connected to the fan b > and that its longitudinal axis runs in the middle of the housing a.
The Ileiz registers each consist of several ribbed tubes.
Furthermore, air guide walls <B> d </B> are built into the housing a in such a way that they pass the air flow generated by the fan to the heating battery c and three times, alternating from one side and the other. through the heating battery c.
The heated air emerges from the housing a in its longitudinal direction through the opening e located in the end wall of the housing opposite the fan. The air guide walls <B> d </B> are offset to one another and protrude from one and the other housing longitudinal wall against the heating battery c. They have arc-shaped parts that touch the housing walls.
The heating battery could also be arranged in such a way that the longitudinal axis extending outside the center of the housing would be arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing.
The exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 3 also has in a housing, a, an elongated heating battery c and at one end a fan <B> b </B>. Furthermore, air guide walls d are built in the housing a in such a way that the air flow passes through the heating battery twice, from different sides.
One air duct wander straight from the middle part of the stimulus battery c to a housing longitudinal wall. As can be seen, this air duct wander is on the same side of the housing as the fan outlet. The outlet e of the housing is located behind this mentioned air guide wall in the housing longitudinal wall, towards which the mentioned air guide wall extends.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the likewise elongated heating battery is arranged obliquely to the longitudinal Zn ax of the housing a - in such a way that the length of the The housing and the ileizbatAterie form an angle of <B> 25 '</B>. The angle is at most <B> 9.5 </B> ', a greater incline is out of the question.
Here, too, a fan is provided at one end of the housing, and there are air guide walls which ensure that the air flow passes through the heating battery twice.
In the last two embodiments, too, the heating battery is connected to the fan with one end.
In the case of the air heaters shown, a fan housing is sufficient, the cross-section of which is not larger than that which results from the theoretically correct dimensioning of the casing of the fan wheel. As a result, the cross-sectional dimensions of the remaining air heaters are small.
Since, furthermore, in the case of the air heaters shown, it is possible to achieve an uten Ileiz- #n <I> 2z </I> effect with a heating battery c consisting of only two Ileiz registers, only a few - To assemble individual pipes into registers and a battery, so much less of the expensive welding points are required when welding than with air heaters with many heaters.
11- let air heater!, N see therefore also manufacture billio.
The air heaters shown can be vertically free-standing in the room or attached to the wall. But they can also lie horizontally on the floor or hang from the ceiling or rest on wall brackets.
In the case of the air heaters shown, the air flow from the fan d-are-11 is pushed into the heating battery. However, an embodiment is also conceivable in which the air enters the housing a at one end, is then sucked through the heating battery and is blown out through the ventilator pressure opening.
This also requires execution. however, at least in part, a slightly wider expansion, since an air duct must be provided from the heating battery to the suction opening of the ventilator.
