Description
Verfahren zum Entfernen von Flecken. Im Patent Nr. 15,6989 ist .die Verwen dung von Chlornaphthalin als Fleckenreini gungsmittel, insbesondere zur Entfernung von Teer- und Pechflecken, empfohlen wor den.
In weiterer Ausbildung des in dieser Pa tentschrift geoffenbarten Gedankens wurde :efunden, dass das o-Dichlorbenzol ähnliche Eigenschaften besitzt und zum Reinigen von mit Zelluloseesterlacken überzogenen Ober flächen, insbesondere zur Entfernung von Teer- und Pechflecken, mit Erfolg verwen det werden kann. <I>Beispiel:</I> Teerspritzer auf einer mit einem Zellu- ioseesterlack lackierten Fläche werden mit einem mit o-Dichlorbenzol imprägnierten Wollappen entfernt.
Hierauf wird mit einem trockenen Lappen das nicht verdunstete o-Dichlorbenzol entfernt und gegebenenfalls nachpoliert. Das Poliermittel kann auch dem o-Dichlorbenzol zugesetzt werden.
Procedure for removing stains. The use of chloronaphthalene as a stain cleaner, particularly for removing tar and pitch stains, is recommended in patent no. 15,6989.
In a further development of the idea disclosed in this patent it was found that o-dichlorobenzene has similar properties and can be used successfully for cleaning surfaces coated with cellulose ester paints, in particular for removing tar and pitch stains. <I> Example: </I> Tar splashes on a surface coated with a cellulose ester lacquer are removed with a woolen cloth impregnated with o-dichlorobenzene.
The o-dichlorobenzene which has not evaporated is then removed with a dry cloth and polished if necessary. The polishing agent can also be added to the o-dichlorobenzene.
