Description
Graugusslegierung. Bekannte Graugusslegierungen mit einem Kohlenstoffgehalt von 2-5'/o und Zusätzen von Silizium und Mangan haben den Nach teil, dass sie gegen Verzundern und Wachsen bei hohen Temperaturen nicht widerstands fähig sind. Graugusslegierungen, die statt Silizium und Mangan Silizium und Alumi nium enthalten, bereiten Schwierigkeiten im Vergiessen, indem durch die Bildung von Aluminiumoxyd auf der Gussoberfläche Haut bildungen auftreten. Graugusslegierungen mit hohen Nickel- und Chromgehalten sind teuer, so dass sie nur für die Herstellung von be stimmten Gegenständen in Betracht kommen. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Grau- busslegierung und besteht darin, dass diese einen Kohlenstoffgehalt von 2-3,5 0/o, einen Siliziumgehalt von 3-50/o, einen Mangan gehalt von 0,5-10/o und einen Chromgehalt von 4-60/0 aufweist. Durch diese Zusammensetzung wird ein Guss erhalten, der bei hohen Temperaturen, wie z. B. 10500 C, gegen Verzundern und Wachsen widerstandsfähig ist.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Graugusslegierung, gekennzeichnet durch einen Gehalt von 2-3,5 0/o Kohlenstoff, 3 bis 5 0/o Silizium, 0,5-1 % Mangan und 4 bis 6 0/o Chrom.
