Folding trestle for road signage. The object of the invention is a folding steel trestle with fixed panel and removable and interchangeable plates, intended for signaling on roads under construction or under repair.
The various devices used to date were bulky, heavy, unsightly, of very variable construction and shape, left to initiative and to fancy (the entrepreneurs.
The folding trestle constitutes a marked technical progress. The users thus have a robust material having a minimum of bulk and, consequently, a great ease of transport, while allowing to obtain a great variety of it in the range of signs, signals and inscriptions.
The accompanying drawing, given to as an example, is shown an embodiment of a folding metal trestle. In this drawing: Fig. 1 shows in perspective a trestle deployed in a signaling position; Fig, 2 shows the folded trestle and seen on the rear face relative to to fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 shows two removable and interchangeable plates.
In this embodiment, the fixed metal panel a bears an inscription on each of its faces, and ends laterally with vertical sockets b intended to receive signals such as the flag shown at < B> 1, for example.
The legs c of the trestle are hinged two by two to panel a. Longitudinal bracing is provided by struts: d hinged to one end to the fixed panel a and to the other end to the folding legs c.
These struts are broken at e to allow the trestle to fold over panel a and occupy the position shown in FIG. 2. The spacing of the legs is maintained by the crossbars f articulated from one end to one of the legs and from the other end hooked to < / B> another foot by the nipple g.
On one side of the panel: fixed a and 'L each of its lateral ends are mounted red lights made up of the to faceted lenses h.
The metal buttons i integral with the panel a are used to hang the removable and interchangeable plates j and k for views, at each of their ends, buttonhole-shaped openings for hang on the buttons i.
Removable plates j and k may receive a different inscription on each of their faces.
