Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines ehromhaltigen Azofarbstoifes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen chrom- haltigen Azofarbstoff durch Einwirkung des chromhaltigen Azofarbstoffes, der durch Chro- inieren des Azofarbstoffes aus nitrierter 1- Diazo-2-oxyiiaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure und 2- Oxynaphthalin entsteht,
auf den Azofarbstoff aus diazotiertem 4-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzol und 2 - Oxynaphthalin erhalten kann, wenn diese Einwirkung in alkalischem Medium er folgt.
Der erhaltene chromhaltige Azofarbstoff stellt ein schwarzes Pulver dar, das Wolle aus organisch saurem - schwefelsaurem Bade in tiefschwarzen Tönen von vorzüglicher Echtheit färbt. Beispiel: 60 Teile einer durch Chromieren in sau rem Medium hergestellten Chromverbindung des Azofarbstoffes aus nitrierter 1-Diazo-2- oxynaphthalin-4-sulfonsäure und 2-Oxynaph- thaliu werden in 1000 Teilen Wasser unter Zusatz von 100 Teilen 30 %iger Natronlauge kalt gelöst, 15,
5 Teile des Azofarbstoffes aus diazotiertem 4-Nitro-2-amino-l-oxybenzol und 2-Oxynaphthalin hinzugefügt und das Gemisch 4-5 Stunden unter Rühren rückfliessend ge kocht. Hierauf wird auf etwa 2000 Volumen teile mit Wasser verdünnt, von geringen Men gen Verunreinigungen abfiltriert, das Filtrat mit 10 o/oiger Mineralsäure vorsichtig neutrali siert und der neue chromhaltige Farbstoff durch Beigabe von Kochsalz abgeschieden.
Zu demselben chromhaltigen Azofarbstoff gelangt man, wenn statt Natronlauge andere Alkalien, wie zum Beispiel Kalilauge, Soda, Pottasche, Borax, Magnesiumoxyd, Calcium- hydroxyd, Ammoniak oder Trialkaliphosphat, verwendet werden.
