Description

Die Erfindung betrifft. ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von bemustertem Kunstmarmor, nach welchem man auf eine Unterlage die zur Bemusterung notwendige Farbmasse auf trägt, hernach, eine biegsame Folie aus was serundurchlässigem Material auf die Farb- masse auflegt, alsdann mittelst einer auf die Folie aufzulegenden Platte auf die Farb- masse einen Druck. ausübt. wodurch letztere gequetscht und das Farbmuster erzeugt wird, hierauf die Folie ablöst und die mit dem Farbmuster versehene Unterlage mit Zement hintergiesst.
Das Verfahren lä.sst sich beispielsweise wie folgt ausführen: Nach dem Auftragen der gewünschten Farbmasse auf eine Unter lage, die aus Glas oder dergleichen bestehen kann, wird eine biegsame Folie, die wasser- undurchlässig ist, auf die Farbmasse gelegt. Hernach wird auf die erwähnte Folie eine Platte, die wiederum aus Glas oder derglei- chen bestehen kann, gelegt.
Alsdann übt man auf die letztgenannte Platte einen Druck aus, wodurch die in beliebigem Muster aufgetra genen, meist unterschiedlichen Farbmassen gequetscht und unter Bildung von Über gängen von verschiedener Tönung entspre chend verbreitert werden. Ist dies geschehen, ,dann wird die aus wasserundurchlässigem Material bestehende Folie abgelöst und die mit dem Farbmuster versehene Unterlage mit Zement hintergossen.
Führt man während der Druckausübung auf die Platte noch ent sprechende hin- und hergehende, oder wel len-, zickzack- oder kreisförmige Bewegun gen aus, so können die Farbenübergänge variabler und damit auch die Wirkung in bezug auf das. erzeugte Muster gesteigert werden.
