Hand-operated trill bell for bicycles and the like. In the previously common, manually operated trill bells with a gear segment, the rotation of the latter is done by pulling. However, it is much more the natural way of doing hand activity to use a pressure movement instead of pulling a lever, since pressure can be exerted with the thumb or another finger of the hand much more comfortably and easily.
The invention now relates to a hand-operated trill bell for bicycles and the like with a gear segment serving to actuate the bell, which is characterized by an organ that is led out of the bell shell and forms an extension of the gear segment, which when the bell is actuated like a button is moved inward by an approximately straight Druckbe movement and thereby rotates the gear segment. In the drawing, the subject invention is illustrated in two embodiments, for example.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the toothed segment z, which operates the gear train formed in a known manner, aas one piece with the extension-forming handle k, which protrudes through a slot s of the lower bell shell u to the outside and on End is provided with a push button.
According to a further embodiment of the subject matter of the invention (FIGS. 3 and 4), the push button k is carried by an intermediate link l; the means of a Gelen kes g rotatably connected to the Zabnradsegment z and led out of the bell shell in its extension. In this case, since the handle does not move sideways, the slot s in the bell cup a4 can be omitted and replaced by a hole adapted to the handlebar l.
Both solutions allow full utilization of the stroke length of the gear wheel segment with little effort to operate the bell.
