Description
Dispositif permettant de réaliser un joint étanche. La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif permettant de réaliser un joint étanche, caractérisé en ce que comprenant une pièce métallique comportant une âme et au moins une aile, cette dernière étant réali sée de manière à supporter une garniture élastique constituant la partie 'femelle du joint, la garniture étant susceptible d;être pressée au moyen d'une lame constituant la partie mâle du joint susmentionné, ladite lame étant solidaire de l'une des ailes d'un fer à U.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention.
La figure unique en est une vue en coupe transversale.
Dans le dispositif représenté, la partie femelle du joint est fixe, et la partie mâle mobile dans le sens de la flèche 1, par exem ple. Ledit dispositif comprend une pièce métallique en acier comportant une âme 2 et deux ailes 3 et 4. Contre cette dernière est disposé le fer profilé 5 auquel, par l'in termédiaire de rivets 6 est adaptée l'âme 2.
L'aile 3 est profilée de manière à réaliser une cavité 7 dans laquelle est placée une garniture 8 en matière élastique, en caout chouc par exemple, constituant la partie femelle du joint; cette dernière est suscep tible d'être pressée au moyen d'une lame 9 constituant la partie mâle du joint; ladite lame est solidaire de l'une des ailes du fer à U 10. Les parois 11 et 12 de la cavité 7 sont munies d'épaulements 13 et 14 servant à maintenir la garniture 8.
Au fer 10, constituant par exemple la partie inférieure du panneau d'une porte d'une carrosserie d'automobile, est fixée d'une part, 'la tôle 15, et, d'autre part, le placage 16 lequel, lorsque la porte est fermée, presse contre l'extrémité 17 de l'âme 2 qui forme la battue inférieure du cadre de la porte susmentionnée.
Comme variante d'exécution, on peut pré voir un dispositif dans lequel le fer- à<B>U</B> serait fixe, et la partie femelle du joint mobile.

The present invention relates to a device for producing a tight seal, characterized in that comprising a metal part comprising a core and at least one wing, the latter being made so as to support an elastic gasket constituting the female part of the joint, the lining being capable of being pressed by means of a blade constituting the male part of the aforementioned seal, said blade being integral with one of the wings of a U-shaped iron.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the subject of the invention.
The single figure is a cross-sectional view thereof.
In the device shown, the female part of the seal is fixed, and the male part movable in the direction of arrow 1, for example. Said device comprises a metal part made of steel comprising a core 2 and two wings 3 and 4. Against the latter is placed the profiled iron 5 to which, by means of rivets 6, the core 2 is fitted.
The wing 3 is profiled so as to produce a cavity 7 in which is placed a lining 8 made of elastic material, for example in rubber, constituting the female part of the seal; the latter is capable of being pressed by means of a blade 9 constituting the male part of the seal; said blade is integral with one of the wings of the U-shaped iron 10. The walls 11 and 12 of the cavity 7 are provided with shoulders 13 and 14 serving to hold the lining 8.
To the iron 10, constituting for example the lower part of the panel of a door of an automobile body, is fixed on the one hand, the sheet 15, and, on the other hand, the veneer 16 which, when the door is closed, press against the end 17 of the core 2 which forms the lower leaf of the frame of the aforementioned door.
As an alternative embodiment, we can see a device in which the iron <B> U </B> is fixed, and the female part of the movable joint.
