Description

Scheinwerfer an Fahrzeugen.

Headlights on vehicles. The present invention relates to a headlight on vehicles, mainly automobiles.

The same is characterized in that the reflector can be pivoted about an axis that is horizontally placed through the focal point of the reflector.

Appropriately, the reflector with all the parts in the housing can be removed to the front and the bulb with parts carrying it can be removed backwards regardless of the reflector. Furthermore, it is expedient to attach the headlight housing to a stationary part of the driving tool by means that are only accessible from the inside of the housing.

The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention in vertical section.

1 denotes the parabolic reflector of the headlamp made of glass or metal. This reflector is pivotably mounted by means of two horizontal stub axles 11 on two supports 21 attached to arms 2.

The pivot lug of the reflector 1 passes through the focal point 3 of the parabolic reflector 1. The reflector 1 can be pivoted in a known manner by electrical means (solenoid). The incandescent lamp holder 4 is seated by means of a bayonet connection of a known type in a sleeve 5 with an external thread for setting the incandescent body into the focal point of the reflector. The sleeve 5 is adjustable in the internal thread of a sleeve 6, which is firmly screwed in the stationary part 8 connected to the reflector housing 7 Re and secured by a spring 10 screwed into a cap 9 in the stationary part 8. At part 8, the inner ends of the arms 2 be strengthened.

In the sleeve 5 an insulating piece 11 and in this a displaceable, spring-loaded pin 12 is arranged, which forms contact with the incandescent lamp through the spring pressure and secures the lamp socket 4 in the bayonet lock. The power cable, which is not shown and is guided through the nut 13 and the associated, axially pierced fastening screw 14, is connected to the pin 12.

After unscrewing the cap 9 from the stationary part B, the sleeve 6 together with the sleeve b and incandescent lamp, z. B. to replace the latter, can be removed backwards without sensitive parts of the headlamp, z. B. having to dismantle the reflector. By releasing a nut 15 screwed onto an external thread of the stationary part 8, with the cap 9 removed, the part 8 together with the glass socket 16, the reflector and all parts located in the housing can be removed from the housing 7.
