Description
Rags for washing and cleaning purposes. The known cloths for washing and cleaning purposes, which are made of interwoven or knitted textile threads, have the disadvantage of being too low in roughness and are therefore unsuitable for certain cleaning purposes.
In order to remedy this problem, the individual textile threads of the fabric or knitted fabric were wrapped with metal before weaving or knitting. Here, too, there were again disadvantages in that the metal (copper) could be attacked and the rags were therefore not hygienic. Replacing these metals with silver or nickel probably remedied this last-mentioned disadvantage, but increases the manufacturing costs.
The present invention is. now a rag, which consists of cord-shaped structures of textile threads, which z. B. are interconnected by weaving, crocheting, knitting or the like.
According to the invention, these cord-like structures have a guide, at least one thread loosely wound onto the guide in tight turns, and a textile thread wound tightly over the first-mentioned threads in wide turns.
In the accompanying drawing, a structure used to produce the cloth according to the invention made of textile fibers is shown, for example.
The structure consists of three textile threads of different diameters, of which the guide denoted by 1 is loosely wound around by a two-th thread 2 in tight turns. A third thread 3 is wound tightly around these two threads 1 and 2 in wide turns and thus holds the thread 2 firmly on the thread 1.
To produce cloths, for example in the form of bags, the cord-shaped structure 1, 2,, is combined by weaving, we ken or crocheting to form surfaces or tubular structures. Instead of crocheting the structure 1, 2, 3 itself, the latter can run parallel to one another, running across them,
crocheted stitches or chain stitches are combined.
The individual textile threads 1, 2 and 3 can all consist of cotton, or some of them, for example the thread 1, from. Hemp or linen yarn.
The diameter of the individual threads is advantageously chosen to be different, for example so that thread 1 has the largest and thread 3 has the smallest diameter.
If only one thread 2 jams, several solohar can also be provided.
