Description


      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr.     177"074.       Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     quaternären    Salzes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues       quaternäres    Salz erhält, wenn man     a-Brom-          stearinsäure    mit     Pyridin    umsetzt.  



  Das neue     quaternäre    Salz bildet ein Pul  ver, dessen wässerige Lösung eine hohe Netz  kraft besitzt und das als     Tegtilhilfsstoff,        ins-          besondere    zum     Wasserechtmachen    von Fär  bungen, verwendet werden kann.         Beispiel:     10 Gewichtsteile     a-Bromstearinsäure    wer  den mit 20 Gewichtsteilen     Pyridin    auf -dem  siedenden Wasserbad erhitzt bis das Reak  tionsprodukt in Wasser löslich ist, was nach  etwa 1 Stunde der Fall ist. Nach dem Ab-    destillieren des     Pyridins    erhält man das neue  Produkt in Form eines Pulvers.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRTTCH Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen, duaternären Salzes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man a-Bromstearin:säure mit Pyridin umsetzt. Das neue quaternäre Salz bildet ein Pul ver, dessen wässerige Lösung eine hohe Netz kraft besitzt und das als T.egtilhilfsstoff, insbesondere zum Wasserechtmachen von Färbungen, verwendet werden kann.
