Appareil à nettoyer à jet d'eau. La présente invention a pour objet un appareil à nettoyer à jet d'eau, particulière ment destiné à l'entretien des surfaces pein tes, telles qu'on en rencontre sur les voitures automobiles, mais qui peut cependant servir également au nettoyage de fûts et dans toute autre application.
L'appareil selon l'invention est caractérisé par le fait qu'il présente une lance formée d'un tube métallique dont une des parties terminales est recourbée sous un angle de 135 et se termine en ajutage, une brosse étant fixée de manière amovible à l'extrémité de cette partie terminale, au moyen d'une douille serrant sur le tube et se vissant dans le corps de brosse, de façon que ledit ajutage soit logé- à pression dans un forage pratiqué dans le corps de brosse pour livrer passage au jet d'eau débouchant dans les touffes de la brosse. Le corps de brosse est, de préfé rence, entouré d'un anneau élastique consti tuant une protection pour l'article à nettoyer.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'appa- reil faisant l'objet de l'invention, représentée en élévation avec coupe partielle.
Cet appareil présente une lance constituée par un tube en fer, acier ou aluminium 1, entouré d'un boyau en caoutchouc 2. Une des extrémités du tube 1 porte une brosse à crins, soies, pia-sava ou autres touffes, ledit corps de brosse 3 étant fixé, de manière amovible, à l'extrémité du tube 1, au moyen d'une douille en laiton 4, serrant sur le tube et qui se visse dans la matière du corps de la brosse.
Un joint 5, en klingerite, est serré entre le corps .de brosse et la douille, et le tube se termine par un cône 7, engagé à pression dans l'orifice de sortie du jet d'eau de la brosse, ce cône formant un ajutage étanche qui em pêche que des accumulations d'eau restent en permanence dans le corps de la brosse, ce qui pourrait détériorer le bois constituant géné ralement le corps de brosse. Un anneau de caoutchouc 6 entoure le corps de brosse 3. L'appareil comporte, d'autre part, un robinet de réglage 8 et un raccord 10 pour connecter l'appareil à un boyau d'amenée 9.
La partie terminale du tube I, ainsi que l'axe de la brosse, forment un angle de<B>135</B> avec le tube 1, de façon à permettre une manipula tion facile du jet d'eau dans toutes directions.
