Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines aktiven Sauerstoff enthaltenden Waschmittels. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zu Herstellung eines beständigen, aktiven Sauerstoff abgebenden Waschmittels, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man das Natriumsalz des Pyrophosphorsäureesterge- misches, das erhalten wird durch Behand lung des durch Reduktion von Kokosfett- säure erhältlichen Alkoholgemisches mit weni ger als der molekularen Menge Pyrophosphor- säure, mit Wasserstoffsuperoxyd behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> <B>230</B> kg des Alkoholgemisches, das er halten wurde durch katalytische Hydrierung von Kokosfettsäuren, werden mit 90 kg rei ner Pyrophosphorsäure bei 100 bis 110 ver- estert.
Darauf wird das .Reaktionsgemisch mit 40 kg Ätznatron neutralisiert und durch Um kristallisieren aus Alkohol und Äther das reine Natriumpyrophosphorsäureestergemisch erhalten.
664 kg von dem so hergestellten Pyro- phosphorsäureestergemisch werden mit 215 1 Wasserstoffsuperoxyd 40%ig angeteigt@ und unter Zugabe von wenig Alkohol bei 40' in Lösung gebracht. Hierbei bildet sich analog dem Persalz des Natriumpyrophosphates ein Anlagerungsprodukt in Form einer weissen Paste, in welchem 21/2 Mol Wasserstoffsuper oxyd auf 1 Mol des Alkoholnatriumpyro- phosphates kommt.
Um zu einem trockenen Produkte zu gelangen, ist es zweckmässig, den Alkohol vorsichtig im Vakuum abzudampfen und den Rückstand in Äther aufzunehmen. Dabei fällt das Anlagerungsprodukt als weisses körniges, kristallines Salz aus, welches abfil- triert und mit Äther nachgewaschen werden kann. Das erhaltene Produkt besitzt einen un gefähren Gehalt von 62 % Fett und 5 % akti vem Sauerstoff und ist leichter wasserlöslich als der Fettalkoholpyrophosphorsäureester und bildet sowohl als Paste als auch als Pulver mit Wasser stark schäumende Lö sungen.
Das Produkt kann ausser für die allge meinen Zwecke vor allem auch bei der Textil- veredlung zum oxydativen Nachseifen, zum Vorbleichen von Farbware, zum Beuchen und Nachbleichen von Baumwolle, zum Ent- basten von Rohseide, zum Aufschliessen von Stärke und ähnlichen Zwecken nutzbringend Verwendung finden, zum Beispiel in der Haushaltwäsche.

Analogous to the persalt of sodium pyrophosphate, an addition product is formed in the form of a white paste in which 21/2 mol of hydrogen peroxide is added to 1 mol of alcohol sodium pyrophosphate.
In order to obtain a dry product, it is advisable to carefully evaporate the alcohol in vacuo and to take up the residue in ether. The adduct precipitates out as a white, granular, crystalline salt, which can be filtered off and washed with ether. The product obtained has an approximately 62% fat and 5% active oxygen content and is more soluble in water than the fatty alcohol pyrophosphoric acid ester and forms strongly foaming solutions with water both as a paste and as a powder.
In addition to general purposes, the product can also be used beneficially in textile finishing for oxidative re-soaping, pre-bleaching of colored goods, beeching and re-bleaching of cotton, deboning of raw silk, breaking up starch and similar purposes , for example in household laundry.
