Description

Vitrine.

Showcase. The invention relates to a showcase with sliding glass lids and at least one built-in evaporator of a refrigeration system.

There are already cooled showcases with side doors for bringing in and taking out the goods. Every time such a side door is opened, cold air falls out of the cabinet, which is less unpleasant. is because of the loss of cold than because of the fact that the warm, incoming air reflects its heat well in the cool and contributes to its deterioration.

Preventing this led to the self-evident measure not to design the side walls as doors, but to introduce the goods from above. Such a showcase can be left open at the top; for reasons of hygiene, however, it is advisable to provide a glass cover at the top.

In this case, however, a gap is created where the glass finish meets the walls of the showcase, which disturbs the view.

This visual disturbance is avoided if the top cover and the side wall are glass and are connected to each other in a gentle curve, i.e. are made of one piece. When such a closure is opened, as already mentioned above, the cold air falls out of the showcase.

In order to remedy this drawback, according to the present invention, in the lower part of the front of the showcase, on the inside of the sliding cover and over the entire length of the showcase, a solid glass wall is essentially parallel to the sliding cover and at a certain distance arranged by these.

This second glass wall largely prevents the flow of cold into the open air when the sliding cover is opened and, due to the air space enclosed between it and the sliding cover, it has an isolating effect on the outside.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated, namely: FIG. 1 shows a visual view of the showcase, part of which is broken out, and FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line II-II of FIG. 1 through the showcase.

The wooden outer walls of the showcase are labeled 1. An inner lining 2 consists of non-corrosive metal. 3 and 4 denote shelves made of marble, glass or the like. The space between the outer wall 1 and the inner lining 2 is filled with an insulating compound 5.

An auxiliary evaporator, consisting of a metal plate 6 and cooling tubes 7 attached to it, conceals the main evaporator 8 of a Kältegenerun.gs- plant from view. Above and below the metal plate 6 is an air space 15 respectively. 16 released as the air can circulate with it. 9 is the to line for a refrigerant in which an expansion valve 10 is installed. 11 be denotes a suction line that returns the evaporated refrigerant to the compressor, not shown, of the refrigeration system.

Two glass Sohiebedeckel 12 and 13, which overlap slightly at the inner end, each cover half the length of the showcase and are arranged so that one over or. can be moved under the other. A third pane of glass 14, which is firmly set on the inside parallel to the sliding lids 12, 13, closes the showcase over its entire length up to a certain height so that when the sliding lids 1; 2 and 13 are opened most of the cold air is prevented from flowing out of the showcase.

The glass panel 14 is arranged at a certain distance from the panels 12 and 13, so that an air space 17 is present between the parts 12, 13 on the one hand and the part 14 on the other, which has an insulating effect.

The showcase described ensures that the exhibits are easily visible; it also prevents loss of cold when the sliding lid is opened and sweating of the wall walls at normal temperature differences.

In order to prevent sweating of the glass walls even with large temperature differences and high moisture content in the ambient air, electrical heating wires can be installed between the glass wall 14 and the sliding cover 12, 13, or even on the inside of the glass wall.
