Device for the transmission of electrical currents. The invention relates to a device for transmitting electrical currents between two groups of power connection parts, which have such a position for a device that contains a solid body and a body rotatable with respect to this solid body The group lies inside the device and takes part in the rotations of the rotatable body, while the other group outside the device is fixed.
In order to avoid the less reliable and expensive power transmission through slip rings in devices in which the .rotatable body has frequently changing direction of rotation and only a small number of consecutive revolutions of this body in the same direction of rotation is possible Invention, the current-carrying wires located inside the device, which are connected to a twisting cable located outside the device, which establishes the power connection to the group of power connection parts located outside the device,
housed inside a hollow, flexible shaft which is attached to the rotatable body, rotatably mounted on the fixed body and is firmly connected to those wires in a cross-section outside the device. It is advisable to also firmly connect those wires to the rotatable body so that twisting of the wires with respect to the rotatable body is prevented.
This will for sure. ensures that even with a large number of consecutive revolutions of the rotatable body in the same direction of rotation, there is no damage to the current-carrying wires located inside the device, which are usually difficult to access, and, in the worst case, to those outside the device and therefore easily damaged accessible twisting cable is damaged.
In order to be able to easily replace the twisting cable in the event of such damage, it is expedient to connect the twisting cable with. the inside of the device are the current-carrying wires to see a conveniently accessible detachable plug device, one member of which is attached to the shaft or to a sleeve firmly connected to the shaft, by means of which the shaft is rotatably mounted on the fixed body, where this The link also serves to prevent the twisting of those wires with respect to the shaft at the shaft end located outside the device.
The drawing illustrates an example of a device designed according to the invention in an elevation section.
Of the device, only a fixed lower part 2 mounted on a base plate 1 and the upper part 3 mounted opposite this lower part 2 so as to be rotatable about a vertical axis X-X are shown. A hollow, flexible shaft 4, which consists of several helical springs wound on top of one another, is attached at one end to the upper part 3 by means of a sleeve 5 firmly connected to it, while the other end carries a sleeve 6 by means of which the shaft 4 is attached the lower part \)
is mounted rotatably about an axis Y-Y which intersects the axis X-X perpendicularly. Inside the shaft 4 live wires 7 are placed under, which are intended to be arranged in the rotatable upper part 3 (omitted in the drawing voltage) power consumers from an outside of the device 2, 3 located supply line from power supply. The sleeve 6 is designed so that it carries the member 8 connected to the wires 7 of an electrical plug device, the other member 9 of which is firmly connected to a twisting cable 10, which is to be thought of as being connected to the supply line.
This design -the sleeve 6 secures the wires 7 against twisting about the axis Y-Y with respect to the shaft 4. At the end of the shaft 4 firmly connected to the upper part 3, the wires 7 are clamped together by a clamp 11 to form a bundle. The clamp 11 is fastened to the upper part 3 so that twisting of the wires 7 with respect to the upper part 3 is prevented.
A rotation of the upper part 3 with respect to the lower part 2 about the axis JY-X is transmitted through the hollow, flexible shaft 4 to the member 8 of the plug device 8, 9 that this member rotates accordingly with respect to the lower part 2 about .die axis YY learns. This rotation of the link 8 is from the to: the link is connected twisting cable 10 men aufgenom.
