Device for polishing floors and floor coverings. The present invention is a device for polishing floors and floor coverings, which has a vessel for receiving the polishing compound. In the bottom of the vessel there are openings for the polishing compound to pass through. A piston, which is connected to a stem, is arranged in the vessel. A pressure in the downward direction on the handle is transmitted through the piston to the polishing compound and causes the same to escape through the openings in the floor, whereby it reaches the work site.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is Darge, namely Fig. 1 shows an elevation of the device with ge cut protective cover; 2 shows a plan view of the piston, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of the vessel in the direction of arrow B, FIG. 4 shows a cross section through the device along the line IV-IV of FIG. 3 and FIG. 4a shows the detail of the connection of the piston with the stem.
With a floor or floor covering is referred to. The vessel 2, which has a circular cross-section, is closed by the bottom piece 3 at the bottom. The latter has different openings 3 a for the polishing compound 4 to pass through. The bottom piece 3 consists of a felt plate, which is beaten around the bead-shaped edge 2 a of the vessel jacket 2 and held by means of a wire against sliding off the vessel jacket 2. At the upper edge, the vessel 2 advantageously has an inwardly rounded edge 2 b, whereby the retraction with the piston 9 is facilitated. The piston 9 has a sealing ring 9a, for.
B. made of felt, and also a device for pivoting attachment of the handle 5. In the present Ausführungsbei game, the device consists of a wire bracket 6 attached to the piston, on which the handle is rotatably mounted on the sleeve 7. When the device is not in use, an associated protective cover 10 (FIG. 1) is advantageously placed over the base piece 3.
The operation of the device takes place in the following way: After filling paste-like floor polish into the vessel 2, the piston 9 is introduced and the device is moved by means of the handle 5 over the surface to be polished. By pressing on the piston by means of the handle in the direction of the arrow A. floor polish is pressed through the openings 3a and brought to the work site.
