Magnetic core, in particular for load coils of telecommunication lines. The invention relates to a new magnetic core, in particular stungsspulen for Bela of telecommunication lines. With the right composition, the new magnetic core can have favorable magnetic properties for many purposes, in particular favorable values for the initial permeability and for the hysteresis constant.
According to the invention, the magnet core, mainly for Pupin coils, consists of a sintered powder mixture that contains the three components iron, nickel and copper. Copper contents of up to about 15% are preferred, while nickel and iron are present in larger amounts, so that the copper only plays the role of an additive.
The powder mixture is first sintered so that a coherent material is created. The processing of this work material can be done according to the various procedures known for iron-nickel alloys. Favorable results have been obtained in particular when the new work material for some time, for.
B. two hours, ge at a temperature of 1000-1200 0 C, then cold deformed with a degree of deformation of over 90%, z. B. by rolling, and then after a repeated annealing of about the same extent as before on the use strength was reduced by cold deformation.
Under the degree of deformation, resp. Deformation, the respective reduction in strength is to be understood here.
For example, for a powder mixture containing approx. 40% nickel and approx. 60% iron and an addition of 3 0% copper, an initial permeability of 47 was obtained after applying the aforementioned treatment with a final deformation of 50%
and found a hysteresis constant of 6, the latter measured in:
EMI0002.0001
with a frequency of 800 / sec. was used, d. H. so in
EMI0002.0004
It was found that the same material, but with 6 0% copper added, had a hysteresis constant of 6 and an initial permeability of 45 when using the same procedure as before.
By increasing the copper addition to 9%, the initial permeability rose again to 47 using the same procedure, while in this case the hysteresis constant was 15.
The above-mentioned test results reveal; that the new magnetic core, especially with low copper additions, has the advantage that its magnetic properties do not experience any significant changes when the copper content is changed by the aforementioned manufacturing process, which is of value in terms of manufacturing.
In general, based on the available test results, it can be said that the new magnetic core allows hysteresis constants below 10 to be achieved without difficulty with initial permeabilities of around 50, which is valuable for numerous technical purposes.
If desired, other manufacturing processes can also be used, as are known per se for magnetic alloys, in particular iron-nickel alloys, e.g. B. "an annealing at about 900 0 with subsequent cold deformation over 90%, or instead also the process described in the examples above with additional tempering of the finished material to temperatures of about 400 to 5000 </ B> C.
Naturally, these manufacturing processes result in different magnetic values. For example, when using an annealing of 900-10000 around a subsequent cold deformation of over 90%, initial permeabilities of the size range 100, but hysteresis constants of 20-30 were found.
The new magnetic core is conveniently used in the form of tapes.
