Description

Writing implement. In fountain pens of a known type, i.e. those which are filled with ink: the ink often dries out if the nib has not been used for a while.

Filler pens, however, cannot be used everywhere, even if they are filled with leads that can be copied: the mine has to be renewed very often, and most losses occur when the same is broken.

Attempts have now been made to remedy these deficiencies; So one tried, for example, to put ink, oil paint, graphite powder or the like by placing a rotating ball in the writing tip. to be used, which were brought onto the ball with the line guide on paper, fabric or the like and fed to the writing pad.

The known @ writing instruments of this type are, however, still flawed. The ink soon dries up and: writing was therefore associated with difficulties or would flow out if the device was not stored properly in an upright position.

If, on the other hand, graphite or powder paint was used, there was no Adhäsionswir effect, and the writing was not even in the devices that used oil paint, for example, and for which a simple piston was provided to always counter the necessary amount of paint to push the ball

the pressure exerted on the ink @ became increasingly weaker after a shorter period of use, and the adjusting screw had to be constantly readjusted.

The present invention is intended to create a writing device which eliminates these deficiencies and combines advantages of a filling pencil with those of a fountain pen.

Examples of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in two figures. Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a first exemplary embodiment; Fig. 9 shows another example.

In Fig. 1, the writing tip 1 of the Ge advises in its L ängsaclise with a Boh tion 3 in the manner of a channel and in its mouth with a ball? of a smaller diameter than that of its socket so that the ball 2 can rotate freely in its bearing. The ball that opens into the tip and is pressed in by the \? closed channel 3 is formed inwardly in the form of a funnel 4 from.

In the smaller thread on the outer wall of the funnel 1 is. the container 5 used, which with a pulpy or semi-solid colored i @ lasse, z. B. of printing color corresponding viscosity is filled. The paint is held by the piston 9 under constant and approximately the same pressure, against which piston a spring 8 presses. A piston 6, which is provided with a regulating rod, presses on this spring 8, so that the spring 8 is located between the piston 6 and the piston 9.

The outer chamber 1l of the writing device is on the. larger external thread 10 screwed on the tip 1. The former has Gewwin.de 12 along the entire length of the inner wall, into which chamber the sleeve 14 can be successively screwed in using the 1: 3 thread. (-The rod 7 of the piston 6 is supported against the bottom of the sleeve 1.1.

By twisting the system the piston with; the rod 7, -elche is inserted rotatably in the piston 6. pressed into the tube of the container 5, and the colored mass is pressed into the channel in the direction of the tip so that the mouth of the channel 3 through the ball? is locked. When writing, on the other hand, the ball 2 is pressed into the channel 3 by pressing it on the writing surface, so that the ball rotates as a result of the writing movement on the paper,

takes the color mass with it on its surface and then applies it to the surface of the paper.

In Fi-.2 a different form of @usfühiamgs- is shown. The company sleeve 5 with the screwed-on writing tip 1 is located in the outer chamber 11. The piston unit 6, 9 with a compression spring 8 or 8 in between. its upper piston 6 is finitely provided with a left-hand seliraub spindle 15.

At the upper end of the tube 19 there is a cap 1-6 in which a sleeve 17 with a nut 18 which is also left-handed is firmly mounted, for example by screwing it in. The spindle 15 engages in the nut 18 of the sleeve 17; after removing the tube 19, the paint sleeve 5 is inserted into the chamber 11 and the Kam iner 11 is connected to the tube 19 by screwing.

If the cap 16 is now rotated with the sleeve 17 and the nut 18 firmly screwed into it, the spindle 15 is pressed by the internal thread of the nut 18 against the piston 6, which is prevented from rotating by the friction on the color sleeve wall. The end of the spindle is firmly connected to the copy (i and the pressure iilH.i- di4- 8 is transferred to the piston 9.

U, to be able to close the writing tip completely and prevent the paint from escaping, the cap 16 is rotated from left to right until a relatively large resistance is felt. The pressure of the pistons on the paint nut has then become so strong that the ball? presses firmly against its bearing so that no more paint can escape.

It is sufficient if from time to time during use .die cap 16, respectively. 14 (Fig. 1) is readjusted to keep @the color under sufficient pressure. Thanks to the pressure spring, the pressure between each readjustment remains almost evenly high.

The paint tube can be refilled in both examples.
