Die bei diesen Aminopyrenen vorhande nen Löslichkeitsunterschiede sind ganz er- heblich, grösser, als bei den entsprechenden Nitropyrenen, so dass die Trennung der Iso- merendurch Behandeln mit Lösungsmitteln zum Beispiel entweder mit organischen I.A- sungsmitteln,
oder - da auch die Salze die ser Amine starke Löslichkeitsunterschiede zeigen - mit wüssrigen starken Säuren, oft. schon durch eine einzige Operation gelingt. Hierbei zeigt sieh, @dass .die 8 . 8-Derivate des Pyrens obiger Formel weniger löslieh sind als die 3. 10-Derivate. Als organische Lö sungsmittel können mit besonders ,gutem Er folg verwendet werden z. B.
Alkohol, Ben zol, Chlorbenzol, Toluol, Xylol, Pyridin.
Die nach ,dem vorliegenden Verfahren er hältlichen einheitlichen Aminopyrene sind als Zwischenprodukte für die Herstellung von Farbstoffen von Interesse.
<I>Beispiel 1:</I> Die Trennung des Isomerengemisches aus 3<B>.8-</B> und 3. 10-Diaminopyren lä_sst sich vor teilhaft in Alkohol durchführen, wobei als Ausgangsstoff das auf folgende Weise er hältliche Iso@merengemisch verwendet werden kann.
77 Gewichtsteile Dinitropyren vom Smp. 280 bis<B>290'</B> C (Gemisch aus 3. 8- und 3. 7.0-Dinitropyren, erhältlich durch Nitrie ren von Pyren in Eisessig mit 2 Mol. :Sal- petersäure 1,5 s.
G., oder aus feinst verteil- tem 3-Nitropyren in Wasser mit Salpeter- säure bei 70 bis <B>80'</B> C) werden in 550 Ge- wichtsteilen Alkohol mit 2 % Nickelkataly- sator bei 70 C in einem Rührautoklaven mit Wasserstoff behandelt,
bis der Druck nicht mehr abnimmt. In dem Reaktionspro- @dukt liegt dann ein Gemisch aus 3 . 8- und 3. 10-Diaminopyren vor.
Das Reaktionsprodukt wird nach dem Erkalten in den flüssigen und festen Be- standteil getrennt, wobei die alkoholische Lösung :das 3.1.0-Diaminopyren und der feste Rückstand das. 3. 8-Däaminopyren ent hält.
Der Rückstand wird mit Xylol ausge kocht, worin sich das 3.8-Diaminopyren löst und die Lösung wird vom Nickelkataly sator filtriert. Aus dem Filtrat scheidet sich, nach Abkühlen auf Zimmertemperatur, das 3 . 8-Diaminopyren schon verhältnismässig rein ab.
Nach nochmaligem Umkrista-llisie- ren aus Xylol oder Trichlorbenzol ist das 3. 8-Diaminopyren rein. Es zeigt einen kon stanten Schmelzpunkt von 232 bis 233 C, löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure farblos mit stark violetter Fluoreszenz.
Das alkoholische Filtrat wird eingeengt und der Rückstand aus Toluol oder Xylol umkristalli- siert. Das 3. 1,0-Dnaminopyren scheidet sich in grossen Prismen aus, .die konstant bei 162 C schmelzen.
Grössere Kristalle zeigen bei beiden ' Isomerjen dunk@elolive Farbe, während beim Verreiben die Farbe rein gelb ist.
<I>Beispiel 2:</I> Die Trennung des Isomerengemisches: der 3.8- und 3.10-Diaminopyrene kann auch vorteilhaft in Form ihrer schwefelsauren Salze in verdünnter Schwefelsäure durchge führt werden.
Zur Trennung kann das auf folgende @@Teise erhältliche Isomerengemisch verwen det werden. 29.2 Gewichtsteile Dinitröpyren vom Smp. 2$0 bis<B>290'</B> werden in 250 Ge wichtsteilen Alkohol suspendiert und dazu eine Lösung von 5 7 Gewichtsteilen Natrium- sulfhydrat 30prozentig und 60 Gewichts- teilen Wasser gegeben.
Nach etwa 1/.4 Stunde gibt man nochmals die gleiche Menge Na- triumaulfhydrat hinzu und kocht so lange, bis die violette Lösung sich nach Gelb auf gehellt hat. Nach dem Erkalten wird abge- saugt, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrock net. Ausbeute: 1.8 Gewichtsteile Diamino- pyren roh vom Smp. 160 C.
18 Gewichtsteile dieses Gemisches iso- merer Diaminopyren werden mit 3,60 Ge- wichtsteilen Schwefelsäure 20prozentig und 96 Gewichtsteilen Wasser kurz aufgekocht. Hierbei scheidet sich das Sulfat des 3. 8- Diaminopyrens in hellgrauen Nadeln aus.
Es wird heiss! abgesaugt und das Sulfat mit Ammoniak alkalisch gestellt, wobei Spal tung des Sulfates eintritt. Das freie Amin

Der Ausgangsstoff kann auf folgende Weise erhalten werden. 115 Gewichtsteile Nitroacetylpyren (Gemisch aus 3.8- und 3.10-Derivat, erhalten aus 3-Acetylpyren durch Nitrieren in Eisessig mit 1 Mol. Sal petersäure s.pez. Gew. 1,5) werden wie in Beispiel 4 in Alkohol katalytisch reduziert.
<I>Beispiel 6:</I> Die Trennung,des Isomerengemisches der 3. 8- und 3. 10-Amino-pyrenearbonsä,ure er folgt zweckmässig in Form .ihrer salzsauren Salze in wäss@riger Lösung.
Als Ausgangs:-, Stoff kann das auf folgende Weise erhält liche Isomerengemisch verwendet werden. , 24;6 Gewichtsteile Pyren-3-earbonsäure werden fein zerrieben und in 750 Gewichts- teilen Nitrobenzol suspendiert. Bei 7 5 C lässt man eine Mischung von 7,5 Gewichts teilen Salpetersäure (1,5) und 50 Gewichts teilen Nitrobenzol zufliessen, und erwärmt auf 170 bis <B>180'</B> C,
wobei die Suspension völlig in Lösung geht. Bei Erkalten erhält man ein in gelben Nädelchen .kristallisiertes Gemisch von wahrscheinlich 3 . 8- und 3 . 10- Nitropyrencarbonsäure vom F.<B>2170</B> bis <B>2185</B> C. Konzentrierte Schwefelsäure löst mit olivgrüner, verdünnte Natronlauge mit gelbroter Farbe.
Durch katalytische Hydrie rung der wässrigen Natrium-Salzlösung der beiden Nitropyrencarbonsäuren mit Nickel erhält man eine hellgelbe, fluoreszierende Lö sung Ader entsprechenden 3.8- und 3.10- Amino@pyrencarbonsäuren, die durch An- säuern mit verdünnter Salzsäure als Salze in Form von dicken, rotbraunen Flocken ab geschieden werden.
Die Trennung des Isomerengemisches er folgt durch Aufkochen der Suspension der, salzsauren Salze der 3. 8- und 3. 1,0-Amino-@ pyrencarbonsäuren. Hierbei geht das eine Isomere mit hellgelber Farbe in Lösung und scheidet sich nach Filtration von dem Rück- stand, der das andere Isomer enthält, gelb lich, dick, schleimig wieder aus.
Bei vorsich tigem Zusatz von verdünntem Alkali erhält man gelbbraune Flocken der freien 3-Amino- pyren-1.0-e,rbonssäure, löslich in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure mit grüngelber Farbe und, lebhafter grüner Fluoreszenz, in verdünnter Natronlauge schwach gelb mit graugrüner Fluoreszenz.
Der salzsaure rotbraune Filterrückstand wird in Wasser suspendiert und mit ver dünnter Natronlauge neutralisiert. Die iso- mere 3@Aminopyren-8-carbonsäure wird in braunen Flocken erhalten, löslich in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure gelb mit blaugrüner Fluoreszenz, in verdünnter Natronlauge gelb mit graugrüner Fluoreszenz.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Trennung von isomeren substituierten 3-Aminopyrenen, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man Gemische von iso- meren Pyrenderivaten folgender Konstitution: EMI0004.0098 in denen R einen Subetituenten bedeutet, mit einem Lösungsmittel behandelt und die beiden Isomeren auf Grund ihrer verschie denen Löslichkeit voneinander trennt.
