Description
.Assortment of parts for the construction of a removable shelter.
The present invention relates to an assortment of parts for the construction of a removable shelter. This assortment is characterized in that it comprises beams which have grooves in the form of bates, rectangular panels intended to fit into these bates and metal components for fixing these panels to these beams, in such a way that these can be reunieg to each other through said panels.
The attached drawing shows, by way of example, a four-bedroom shelter and the assortment, object of the invention, of the parts necessary for its construction.
Figs. 1, 2 and 3. show the first shelter-lodging by views respectively in elevation of one of the faces, in horizontal section at the height of the windows, and in section along HI-IH.
Figs. 4 to 26 show assembly details in perspective and in section.
Les fig. 27 ä 29 montrent des empaque tages de Fassortiment. Figs. 27 to 29 show packages of the assortment.
By cons.iderant first leg fig. 1 to 4, an sees that the first cottage rests on Base Plots 1 which have a cross recess. Every Plot. is large enough for the branches of this recess to be able to contain, in their outer half, lugs 2a that present the ends of beams 2 and, in their other inner half, the ends of longitudinal ribs that presage very vertical beams- 5 by the first made of four flutes which determine a cross section of these beams. These grooves are in the form of batees, and the horizontal beams 2 present similar ones on their upper face. Four beams of type 2 embedded in four Plots 1 can therefore form a horizontal frame whose batees can. receive panels 4 forming a floor. In the example shown, there are nine base Plots and twelve beams 2 which determine, with the panels 4, the floor of a square small house of about five meters sideways with a Base Plot in its center. 0n sees that the beams 2 can be, assembled to each other by 1'intermediaire panels 4 if there is a floor, or by at least 1'interm6diaire vertical panels 7 if Fon happens lower floor. For the assembly of. panels 4 or 7 to the beams, see Figs. 25 and 26 which show a panel 7 and its assembly with a column 5.
The panel is made up of a wooden frame 7a -onto which are screwed boards 71) and 7c between which is held a layer of cork or another insulating material. In the case of panels which carry a door or a window, board 7b or both cover only part of the interior space of the frame. The latter has holes 19 with ela, rgissements of square seetion 19a in which are imprisoned piken of mkal 20 with square heads and of which a cylindrical part is internally threaded. The ribs reserved between two batees of the column 5 are perforated with holes 18 which correspond to the holes 19 of the frame and these holes 18 have a widening 18a, on each side of the rib, intended to receive the head of a screw 21 which crosses the rib and wisse dann there. pike 20. The beams 2 have holes 18 through their rib as also in the Parts which support the panels 4.
The cross section of the beams 5 is made up of five equal squares, one of which is central. The ribs of the beams 2 and of all those which will be described below have the same width as the squares which, in a preferred construction, is five centimeters. The dimensions of the panels and the length of the beams are all multiples of this five centimeter measurement. The height of an elementary cell or chamber is equal to its horizontal height, which measures two hundred and forty centimeters from one axis to the other of the base Plots. The length of panels 4 and 7 is two hundred and thirty-five centimeters, and their width is seventy-five centimeters.
5 shows the assembly of a cross beam 3 intended to support the panels 4. Its ends conform with a stud like those of the beams 2 with this difference that the height of the beam 3 is less; its lugs are introduced into notches 2b made in the beams 2. It can be seen that three widths of the panels 4 plus two thicknesses of ribs of the beams 3 make a total of two hundred and thirty-five centimeters, equal to the length of an RTI ID="0002.0276" WI="14" HE="4" LX="1587" LY="454"> panel.
For simplicity, an can call module la. width of a rib or the side of the squares which form the cross-sections of the powders. 0n seen in fig. 6 that joint cover beams 6 separate the vertical panels 7 like the beams 3 separate the panels 4. For this, the beams 2 also have notches 2b on the outside. Into these notches penetrate lugs formed by the rib of each beam 6 protruding by two inodules from an end face of the other parts of the beam 6, which here has a T but which could also be crosswise if Fon wanted to line the walls with interior panels.
7 shows a base Plot and a beam 5 located at the center of FIG. 2; the four branches of the cross recess of the Plot are filled there by beam 5 and by the lugs of four beams of type 2.
The cross section of the beams 5 is constant from one of their ends to a capital, these beams being intended to be placed vertically and to form either the corner edges of the construction, or oo - central lonnes as is the first case in fig. 7. 0n seen in fig. 8 the top of a central column overlooks the capital is covered by five other beams resting on it, beams of which three are remote from the capital in fig. 10 to show the latter; it comprises a parallelipipedic Part with a square base having the first module for height and three modules for dte, and, above this net Part, and in its center, a cube 5b having a module for side and whose upper face has been shaped like a pyramid. The capital also has holes 5c drilled vertically opposite the middles of the ribs of the column. fig. 11 shows the pieces supported by the capital of a column 5 situated between two panels of the same face of the shelter, such as that which is visible in the middle of FIG. 3, and Fig: 12 shows the top of a 5 corner column. Beams of a type designated by 8 unite the capitals of the various columns 5. is placed at the top, so that it can adapt to the inclined parts 10 of the roof described below. - At both ends, this bevelled rib protrudes by a module of 5 faces which are distant from one another by a length equal to the distance of two columns.
These extensions 8a of the ribs have, projecting from their lower face, pins 8b intended to be introduced into the holes 5c of the capitals to determine the exact position of the beams 8 on the capitals, which is useful before 1a. put up panels.
For the construction of a roof or an upper floor, the assortment of pieces also comprises beam-columns 9 which differ from the columns 5 by the conformation of their ends and possibly by their length, which may either eire the same, or be half of the celld of the beams 5, as the first year sees in fig. 3. The bottom of the beams 9 has a shape as represented in FIG. 9 or a form derived therefrom which corresponds to the central position of FIG. B. It can be seen that the bottom of these columns 9 is a square-based plinth, the lower face of which has a cross-shaped recess allowing it to fit onto the extensions 8a of the beams B. FIG. 12 shows the modification that this recess undergoes in the case of a corner column, where it only has two branches of the cross, so that there is no visible deviation from the outside.
The long beams 9 on the left of FIG. 3 are perforated at mid-height and through the rib which looks at the pie beam 9, in the first goal that the position of a
For this, the beams 11, which have the same section as the beams 8, conform at one of their ends as shown in FIG. 17 and to the other as shown in fig. 19; an sees that the horizontal ribs are, in fig. 19, longer by one module than the vertical ones and than the center in order to allow interlocking between the aisles of the perforated rib of the beam 9 and are percees.pour to allow the introduction of the aforementioned dowel.
17, an sees the conformation of the top of the beam 9 arranged in the center of the upper floor; two: of its ribs are in size; are over a length of two modules and the other two, perpendicular to the pTe mi6res, the first are on a module; the latter support beams 8 and the first a beam 11, the projecting part of which is two modules high, and the first top of an inline beam 10, the first bottom of which can be seen above in fig. 13, and above in fig. 14; this end mit6 has two cubic lugs having the module for summer, inclined so that their bases are applied on the ribs of the beams 8 and separated from one another by a fand beveled notch intended to be applied to the bevelled rib of a beam B.
The roof panels 12 are supported by the other panels 10 as shown in FIG. 22. They are separated from each other by a joint cover 13 of the same thickness and have the T-shaped section, so that they fit into grooves made on the long edges of the panels 12. bolts together together. others to the beams 10. One of the panels forms an eave outside a panel 7 and has its outer edge supported by an iron 15 fixed to this panel. The roof panels having the same width as the panels 4, their adjoining edges are also supported by crosspieces whose role corresponds to that of the beams 3 of the floor. One of them is designated by 22 in fig. 21. Its upper extremity face is inclined in accordance with the slope of the roof and its lower extremity, like its section, is like that of the beams 10. its top face which has a horizontal bevel intended to come to the level of the horizontal rib of the beam B. For this, the last rette has notches for the first housing of the projecting parts of the irons 22a,.
Figs. 28 and 24 are vertical sections of the roof through the beams 8 located one at mid-height of the roof, and the other at the falte. We see that their upper rib has a metal coating 17 which carries threaded rods 17a directed perpendicularly to one of the bevels of the rib in FIG. 23 and the two bevels in fig. 24. The face of the panels 12 has a practical groove ä. one of its extremities and is placed at the bottom for the panels of the upper half of the roof and at the top for those of the lower half. 1? n joint cover 14 is nested in its two grooves; it is crossed, as well as the first lower panel, by the rods 17a and by bolts which cross the upper panel, and the whole is assembled by the first tightening of screws screwed onto the rods and the bolts For the first time, the rods 17a connect the panels to the beams 8 and ä in the same way, a curved joint cover 16 which may be of metal.
All the beams described are preferably made of wood, and of less dense wood such as spruce.
One of the advantages of this assortment of piken is that any building constructed with it can be indefinitely enlarged by the addition of rooms or cells adjoining immediately to one side of the other, which becomes a party wall. Instead of having a top cell through beam 11, one could arrange the panels which form the top of the roof in fig. 3 symmetrically to the lower panels 12, and thus have a pediment. It is not necessary that the people erecting a shelter be professional carpenters, all piepes determining their relative positions by their very conformation. Mainly, the panels determine by their rectangular shape the perpendicularity of the beams which frame them.
