Pneurad.
Tire wheel. Pneumatic wheels with a valve passing through the rim of the wheel are known.
With these, however, there is the disadvantage that the valves do not seal sufficiently against the rim, so that water gets between the rim, the pneumatic casing and the tire, whereby the rim rusts and the pneumatic casing and the tire get rust spots and are weakened. This can cause the tire to leak.
The aim of the invention is to remedy this drawback in that the valve is sealed water-tight at the passage point against the rim.
This seal can be achieved, for example, in that there is a rubber ring around the valve stem, which is pressed against the rim by a nut seated on the valve stem.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown on the accompanying drawing voltage.
1 shows part of the pneumatic wheel in cross section through the valve and FIG. 2 shows the valve on a larger scale with the rubber ring, the press nut and the closure cap in section.
1 is the rim of the tire, 2 is the tire and 2 'is the pneumatic sleeve. 3 and 4 are annular inserts, which BEZW the Pneumantel. give the tire lateral support. 5 is the valve stem which is provided with the head 5 'at one end. 6 is a nut on the threaded shaft. 7 is a rubber ring and 8 is a second nut on the valve stem 5, which is provided with a circular groove 8 '. 9 is the cap of the valve.
From Fig. 1, the installation of the valve and its seal can be seen. The valve is connected ver by means of the nut 6 to the Pneu and goes through a hole in the rim 1. The rubber ring 7 is located around the valve stem and is pressed against the rim by means of the nut 8. Here, the rubber ring also squeezes into the groove 8 'of the nut 8, so that it is excluded that water or moisture at the passage point of the valve between this and the rim to the pneumatic jacket or. Tire can get.
