  Die Erfindung und ihre Vorteile sind im       folgen-den    an mehreren Beispielen erläutert.         Fig.   1 ist eine     Schnitta.nsicht        ein-er        An-          ordnungg,    die den     Gran-d-gada.nkpn    der Erfin  dung verkörpert;       Fig-    2     isteine        Schnittansieht    einer Abart  ,der Anordnung nach     Feig.   1;       Fig.   3 zeigt einen, Schnitt nach der Linie       3-3,der        Fig.    2;

Vacuum vessel with a glass flask and a closure piece that is more difficult to soften than the glass flask and a method for manufacturing such a vacuum vessel. The invention relates to such vacuum vessels for electrical discharges, which have a glass envelope and a sealing bead for it, which is more difficult to soften than the glass envelope,

          d. left made of metal or a Kerani fabric, for example.

Furthermore, a method for the production of such vacuum vessels is also the subject of the invention.

In the known devices of this type, the glass bulb and the closure piece k are fused together. It can happen that the glass bulb loses its shape as a result of overheating or melts onto the closure piece.

In devices according to the invention, the sealing piece is not fused with the glass bulb, but with a hollow body which in turn is united with the glass bulb.

  The invention and its advantages are explained below using several examples. Fig. 1 is a sectional view of an arrangement embodying the gran-d-gada.nkpn of the invention; Figure 2 is a sectional view of a variant, the Feig arrangement.  1;  FIG. 3 shows a section along the line 3-3 of FIG. 2;

Fig. 4 is a sectional view of a third example; Fig. 5 represents a section along the line 5-5 of FIG. 4; Fig. 6 is a sectional view of a fourth example, Fig. 7 is a sectional view of a fifth example of the invention.

Identical parts are provided with the same reference characters.

In the arrangement according to. Fig. 1 the intermediate piece 1 has the shape of a ring, which at one of its edges with the glass bulb 3 on the outside of the ring , is melted. The other edge of the intermediate piece 1 is united by a melt 5 with the closure piece 4, which is loading like a container and the melt Contains 5 .

The Zwiselienstück 1 consists of a material that is more difficult to soften than the material of the glass bulb; it can consist of a ceramic material or a suitable metal or it can be made of hard glass or a mixture of glass and ceramic material. The melt 5 can be any glass which contains molybdenum oxide or another molybdenum compound.

In the arrangement according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the intermediate piece 1 consists of ceramic material and is completely enclosed by a part of the piston 3 and with this melted. The part 1 here has an annular flange 8 on its inside, which is provided with radial arms 14.

Conductors 9 are attached to these, which protrude through part 1 and the glass coating formed by piston 3 . The conductors 9 are fastened to the arms 14 by a binding agent which is difficult to soften as glass, and wires 10 are fastened to the conductors 9 which carry the non-drawn electrode assembly.

The parts 1, 3 are both located in the melt 5, which is contained in the closure piece 4, and through which melt these parts with the closure piece 4 are connected.

The arrangement according to FIG. 4 and 5 is of the type of the arrangement shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 . The piston 3 is fused again with the part 1 and the piston is connected to the closure piece 4 by the melt 5 . The conductors 9 FIGS. 4 and 5 extend between the part 1 , which is more difficult to soften than the glass bulb, and the bottom of the closure piece 4 and are passed through wires 16 connected with the # support wires 10 .

The wires 16 are embedded in the melt 5 and fastened by the latter in the intermediate piece. The conductors 9 are also connected to metallic connection members 20 which are attached to the outside of the part 4. The piston 3 can, as shown, be separated from the melt 5 , but can also be fused with it.

In the arrangement according to Fi '-. 6 , part 1 is made of metal. Here it is tapered towards the part 4, which can therefore be, to a lesser extent, the closure pieces 4 shown in FIGS. 1 to 5. At 23 , piston 3 and part 1 are fused together, while the connection of parts 1 and 4 is as in the example according to FIG. 1 is produced. A conductor 27 extends through the bottom of the closure piece 4 and the melt 5 .

In the arrangement according to FIG. 7, the intermediate piece 1 consists of a ceramic part 13 and a metal part 3 0 which are axially attached to one another. Part 13 is fused with piston 3 . The part 30 is firmly connected to the parts 13, 4 by the melt 5 .

The closure piece 4 has openings 34 through which current conductors 16 extend, which are attached by means of the melt 5 . A coil 35 is used to pick up high-frequency currents in order to heat the part 30 by eddy currents that arise in it and thereby melt a glass material that is applied to the arrangement 4, < B> 30, 13 is applied in order to generate the melt 5 . The ceramic part 13 prevents the heat from reaching the piston 3 .

The intermediate piece 1 is preferably such that it can expand or contract radially under the influence of temperature changes. Its expansion coefficient is preferably between that of the parts 3, 4.

Devices according to the examples described can easily be opened and closed again when it comes to repairing or replacing the electrode arrangement or repairing leaks in the vessel. For this purpose, the limbs which are more difficult to expand than the glass bulb, especially the closure piece 4, are heated to such an extent that the part 4 can be removed.

This can take place without the risk of changing the shape or damaging any part of the vessel. Moreover, if the Zwisellenstück 1 leaks, z. B. during the production of the vessel, by heating the closure piece 4 and the glass forming the piston 3, it will be effected that the piston 3 unites with the vaporized melt 5 and thus provides part 1 with a vacuum-sealed coating.
