Par son extrémité opposée à la colonne 37, l'arma ture 36 agit sur .l'extrémité d'un levier formé de deux pièces plates. 19 et 11a assemblées par des vis 35 qui enserrent entre elles, d'une part, .l'arbre 12 du levier qu'elles for ment, d'autre part, un ressort 20 conformé en cliquet pour l'entraînement d'un rochet d'axe 21 relié à une minuterie non-représentée;
Le levier 15 présente un bras15e qui s'é tend à droite de l'axe 12 en fig. 1. De ce bras part un bras 15b s'étendant vers l'arbre du balancier 29 de la pièce d'horlogerie. Ce ba lancier est actionné par un échappement à dé tente dont la détente est désignée par 23 et est pivotée en 24 et dont le bras 15b est l'or gane d'impulsion;
Electric timepiece. The present invention a. for object an electric timepiece according to claim of main patent No. 193970.
This timepiece is characterized in that the armature of the electromagnet and the means by which it acts to arm the impulse lever of the detent escapement are such that the angle at which this armature turns. is smaller than that of which this lever turns, so that the magnetic -dispersion is minimal, the armature being close to the electromagnet.
The armature will be able to act on the impulse lever by means of a lever which carries a pawl for the drive of a rock connected to the timer and the axis of this lever coincides with that of the lever d 'impulse.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof and FIG. 2 shows an isolated detail in elevation.
Fig. 3 shows part of the same detail seen from the right of FIG. 2. Plate 1 carries a central bridge 2, a bridge 3 for the balance 29, the yoke 4 of an electromagnet 10, two electrical terminals 5 and 6, the last of which is isolated from the plate and is connected with a blade. 7 contact also isolated from the plate. An isolated rocker 8, pivoted at 9, carries a contact piece facing the blade 7 and is connected to the circuit of the electromagnet 10.
Against a column 37 fixed to the plate, is screwed by screws 38 a thin non-magnetic metal strip, fixed by screws 40 to a frame 36 of the electromagnet 10.
By its end opposite to the column 37, the armature 36 acts on .l'extreme of a lever formed of two flat pieces. 19 and 11a assembled by screws 35 which enclose between them, on the one hand, the shaft 12 of the lever that they form, on the other hand, a spring 20 shaped as a pawl for driving a ratchet of axis 21 connected to a timer, not shown;
a fixed pawl 22 retains this ratchet between the retrograde ef forts. The blade 39 therefore serves as a suspension spring for the armature and it is armed in such a way that it keeps the armature 36 pressed lightly against the end of the part. The lever 11a-19, which is held in the position represented by the spring 13 and is supported, by means of the spring 20, against a fixed stop 41.
A lever 15, made of a piece of sheet metal cut and folded in a U, journals, by the two branches of the U, on parts of the shaft 12 which protrude from parts 11a and 19, these two branches of the U being arranged ho rizontally (in fig. 2 and 3).
The upper branch forms an arm which extends behind the fold and which carries two ankles 17 and 18; ankle 17 is at. the end of a part 15a of this arm which is narrow enough so that it can be bent and thus adjust the space separating the two ankles between which the contact lever 8 is embraced with play.
The lever 15 has a 15th arm which extends to the right of the axis 12 in FIG. 1. From this arm leaves an arm 15b extending towards the shaft of the balance 29 of the timepiece. This ba lance is actuated by a de-tent escapement whose trigger is designated by 23 and is pivoted at 24 and whose arm 15b is the impulse organ;
the arm 15c is shaped so that it can be at rest on the trigger 23 as in FIG. 1. The lever 15 also has a lug 15d against which a return spring 16 acts.
The arm 15b passes under the parts 11a and 19 which are cut and shaped so that the arm 15c can meet a tab 11b of the part 11a while passing under the part 19.
When the balance 29 releases the trigger 23 in a known manner, the lever 15, released, gives it an impulse by its arm 15b, pushed as it is by the spring 16 acting at 15d. Towards the end of the impulse stroke limited by the side of a notch in the trigger, the pin 18 pushes the lever 8 until the circuit is closed and the spring 31 retains the tent in its disengaged position.
Once the circuit is closed, the frame 36 is attracted, turns lever 11a-19, part 11b of which meets the 15th arm which it pushes back by arming it with new spring 16 as well as spring 13.
This movement of the lever 15 causes the pin 17 to reopen the circuit, the arm 15c to push the spring 31 back and pass to the end of the trigger which a spiral spring replaces in the rest position shown.
The circuit being open, the armature is released and comes back under the action of the spring 13 acting through the lever 11a-19.
The pins 17 and 18 here being made of metal, the lever 8 carries a roller of insulating material arranged on their path. through which they act on this rocker.
The support of the spring 20 against the stop 41 is intended to prevent that more than one tooth of the ratchet passes through each cycle of functions, despite the inertia of the ratchet, thanks to the fact that the spring 20, fully stroke, is clamped between the ratchet and the stopper.
