Two-stage piston compressor with three cylinders. The invention relates to a two-stage piston compressor with three Zy alleviate, in which the two cylinders of the first stage are arranged a short distance next to each other and the cylinder of the second stage is mounted above the cylinders of the first stage such that the axes of the three The cylinder and the crankshaft are in one plane and the axis of the cylinder of the second stage lies between the axes of the cylinders of the first stage. The invention consists in that the pressure valves of the first stage are arranged in the piston of the second stage.
The second stage suction valves can also be arranged in the second stage piston. The pressure valves of the first stage can also act as suction valves of the second stage. An intercooler can be connected to the cylinder of the second stage, to which the gases compressed in the first stage are fed through slots in the cylinder wall and from wel chem the cooled gases are introduced through slots into the cylinder of the second stage.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which shows two execution examples of the subject invention cal cally. Fig. 1 shows a piston compressor according to the inven tion, which works without an intercooler, while an intercooler is connected to the piston compressor of FIG.
The two cylinders 1 and 2 of the first stage (FIGS. 1 and 2) are arranged side by side at a short distance, while the cylinder 3 of the second stage is superimposed over the two cylinders of the first stage in such a way that the axes of all three align Zy cylinder 1 to 3 and the crankshaft 4 are in one plane and the axis of the cylinder 3 cylinder of the second stage is located between the axes of the cylinders 1 and 2 of the first stage.
The gases to be compressed are sucked in through cylinders 1 and 2 of the first stage via suction valves 5 and 6. Since the cranks 7 and 8 of the first stage are offset by <B> 180 '</B> compared to the crank 9 of the second stage, not only the cylinder spaces 10, 11, but also the cylinder during the intake stroke of the first stage room 12 filled with gases. During the compression stroke of the first stage, the gases in the three cylinder chambers 10 to 12 pass through the piston 13 of the second stage into the cylinder chamber 14 of the cylinder 3 of the second stage, in which the piston 13 is currently performing the suction stroke.
During the compression stroke in the cylinder 3 of the second stage, the gases are forced into the delivery line 16 via the pressure valves 15.
In the compressor shown in Fig. 1, two valves 17 are arranged in the piston 13 of the second stage, which come into effect at the same time as pressure valves of the first stage and as suction valves of the second stage. In the compressor of FIG. 2, two pressure valves 18 for the first stage and two suction valves 19 for the second stage are arranged in the piston 13 of the second stage.
The suction valves 19 are connected to the pressure valves 18 by means of a channel 20 which is connected to an intermediate cooler 22 via the slots 21 in the cylinder jacket in such a way that the gases do not pass directly from one valve to the other when flowing through, but first enter the intermediate cooler and only afterwards get into the cylinder second stage. The gases are cooled as they flow through, which improves the efficiency of the compressor.
