Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man ein neues Kondensationsprodukt erhält, wenn man 5 Amino-6-methoxy-2-(4'.metboxy)-phenyl-pseu. do-azimidobenzol mit Acetessigester konden siert. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt stellt ein weisses Pulver dar, das sich leicht in verdünnten Alkalien löst, aus Alkohol um kristallisiert, bei<B>168'</B> schmilzt und ein wert volles Zwischenprodukt zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen darstellt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 27 Teile 55-Amino-6-methoxy.2-(4'.methoxy)- phenylpseudo-azimidobenzol werden in 200 Teilen Chlorbenzol nach Zusatz einiger Trop fen Diäthylanilin am absteigenden Kühler zum Kochen erhitzt. Man lässt das Chlorben zol abdestillieren und gibt dann langsam 20 Teile Acetessigester zu; man kondensiert 2 Stunden unter Abdestillieren des gebildeten Alkohols und von etwas Chlorbenzol.
Nach beendeter Kondensation lässt man erkalten, destilliert das Chlorbenzol mit Wasserdampf ab, löst das abgenutschte zurückgebliebene Kondensationsprodukt aus verdünnter Lauge um und fällt es nach dem Filtrieren von etwaigen Verunreinigungen mit verdünnter Salzsäure wieder aus.

It has been found that a new condensation product is obtained if 5 amino-6-methoxy-2- (4'.metboxy) -phenyl-pseu. do-azimidobenzene condensed with acetoacetic ester. The new condensation product is a white powder that dissolves easily in dilute alkalis, recrystallizes from alcohol, melts at <B> 168 '</B> and is a valuable intermediate for the manufacture of dyes.
<I> Example: </I> 27 parts of 55-amino-6-methoxy.2- (4'.methoxy) - phenylpseudo-azimidobenzene are heated to boiling in 200 parts of chlorobenzene after adding a few drops of diethylaniline on the descending condenser. The chlorobenzene is allowed to distill off and then 20 parts of acetoacetic ester are slowly added; condensation is carried out for 2 hours while distilling off the alcohol formed and some chlorobenzene.
When the condensation is complete, the mixture is allowed to cool, the chlorobenzene is distilled off with steam, the condensation product that has been suctioned off is dissolved from dilute lye and, after any impurities have been filtered off, it is precipitated again with dilute hydrochloric acid.
