Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Mauerwerk. Der ziemlich grosse Wassergehalt des zur Herstellung von Mauerwerk allgemein ver wendeten Kalkmörtels, insbesondere aber die langsame Abgabe des gebundenen Wassers, welche eine lange Trocknungszeit bedingt, haben schon zu verschiedenen Vorschlägen für sogenannte Trockenbauweisen geführt, die aberkeineweitereVerwendungfinden konnten.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Mauerwerk und besteht darin, dass als Bindemittel für die einzelnen Bau elemente ein Gemisch aus Sand und Bitumen- emulsion verwendet wird, und wobei das Ge misch im breiförmigen Zustand aufgetragen wird. Da nun die Emulsion die Eigenschaft hat, das aus ihr stammende Wasser, im Ge gensatz zum Kalkmörtel, der das zugesetzte Wasser hält, sehr rasch abzugeben, trocknet das Bindemittel ungemein schnell, so dass ein unter Verwendung eines solchen Binde mittels erstellter Bau sogleich beziehbar ist. Alle Vorteile der Bitumenemulsion kommen dabei dem Mauerwerk zugute.
Das Bitumen nimmt zum Beispiel bei neuerlichen Zutritt von Wasser dieses nicht mehr auf, wodurch die Mörtelbänder von selbst als Isolierung gegen Grundfeuchtigkeit usw. wirken.
Da Asphalt ein schlechter Wärmeleiter ist, wirken die Mörtelbänder auch wärnte- isolierend. Ein Anfaulen eingemauerter Holz teile kommt nicht in Betracht und Decken träme haben ein dauernd trockenes Auflager. Der Mörtel bleibt stets zäh, so dass Mauer haken und Nägel gut eingeschlagen werden können. Ferner entfällt das sogenannte Aus frieren feuchter Mörtelfugen und das darauf zurückzuführende Ausblättern des Verputzes. Die Wasserbeschaffung beim Bauen erübrigt sich.
Zur Herstellung des Mörtels können die im Handel befindlichen Bitumenemulsionen, insbesondere Emulsionen von Asphalt und Teer Verwendung finden. Der Mörtel kann wie ein Kalkmörtel Härtezuschläge erhalten. Auch die Art des verwendeten Sandes (Kleinschotter, Splitt richtet sich ganz nach den üblichen Grundsätzen. Für das Verfahren gemäss der Erfindung können alle Arten von Bauelemen ten, wie Natur- und Kunststein, Platten usw. in Betracht kommen.

Since the emulsion now has the property of releasing the water from it very quickly, in contrast to the lime mortar, which holds the added water, the binding agent dries extremely quickly, so that a structure created using such a binding is immediately available . The masonry benefits from all the advantages of the bitumen emulsion.
The bitumen, for example, no longer absorbs water when it comes in again, which means that the mortar strips act as insulation against basic moisture etc.
Since asphalt is a poor conductor of heat, the mortar tapes also have a heat-insulating effect. Rotting of walled-in wooden parts is not an option and ceiling beams have a permanently dry support. The mortar always remains tough, so that wall hooks and nails can be hammered in easily. Furthermore, the so-called freezing out of damp mortar joints and the resulting peeling of the plaster are eliminated. There is no need to obtain water when building.
The bitumen emulsions available on the market, in particular emulsions of asphalt and tar, can be used to produce the mortar. Like lime mortar, the mortar can be given additional hardness. The type of sand used (small gravel, grit depends entirely on the usual principles. For the method according to the invention, all types of construction elements, such as natural and artificial stone, slabs, etc. can be considered.
