Device intended to ensure the sealing of the joint between two parts having concentric circular parts. The object of the present invention is a device intended to ensure the tightness of the joint between two parts. with concentric circular parts. This device is characterized in that a cylindrical surface, integral with one of the parts,
is intended to be pushed back by means of a member against a second concentric cylindrical surface, integral with the other part, said member and at least one of said parts being capable of rotating relative to each other,
so that at least during this relative rotation, said member pushes the cylindrical surface intended to be pushed back so that the u sure of this surface is caught up, which guarantees the etanehéity.
The drawing. appended shows, by way of examples, four embodiments of the device forming the subject of the invention.
Figs. 1 and 2 show a first embodiment applied to a waterproof watch winding crown; fig. 1 is a diametrical section of the winder and of said embodiment; fig. 2 is a section taken along line a-b of FIG. 1.
Figs. 3 and 4 show a second embodiment applied to a metal caseback of a waterproof watch case; fig. 3 is a diametral section of the box and of said embodiment; fig. 4 is a section through the line c-d of FIG. 3.
Figs: 5 and 6 show a third embodiment applied to a shaft passing through a sealed wall; fig. 5 is a section taken through the axis of said shaft; fig. 6 is a section taken by the line e-f-g-h of FIG. 5.
Figs. 7 and 8 show a fourth embodiment applied to a cylinder-piston assembly of an engine; fig. 7 is a section through the axis of the cylinder; fig. 8 is a section through the line i-k of FIG. 7.
In, fig. 1 and 2, 1 designates the crown of the winder of a waterproof watch. This crown has a cylindrical surface 2 intended to be pushed back, by means of a member 3, against a concentric cylindrical surface 4 integral with the caseband 5 of the watch.
The member 3 is here constituted by a spring which bears against the cylindrical surface 4 to remain fixed in the direction of rotation with the latter, in order to have a rotational movement relative to the cylindrical surface. 2 during the rotation of crown 1 during reassembly.
It can therefore be seen that the cylindrical surface 2 is constantly pushed back by the spring 3 against the concentric cylindrical surface 4, so that the wear of the surface 2, arising from the relative rotation of this surface with respect to. the sur face 4, is caught. which guarantees the seal, the space 7 being perfectly isolated from the space 6.
In fig. 3 and 4, 8 represent the bottom of a waterproof watch case. This bottom has a cylindrical surface 9 intended to be pushed against a second concentric cylindrical surface 11, integral with the. middle part of the watch. 10 is a ring pushing the surface 9 when acting on it to make it make a few turns of rotation.
The wear of this surface 9 is taken up during the rotation of this ring 10, which guarantees the tightness of the seal, the interior space 12 being well isolated from the exterior space 13.
In fig. 5 and 6, the embodiment of the device a. for the purpose of ensuring the sealing of the seal between a pin 14 and a body 15 which it passes through. 16 is a cylindrical surface integral with the body 15 and constantly pushed against a con centric cylindrical surface 17 of the axis 14 by rollers 19. These are driven by a ring 20 which rotates with the axis 14.
A spring 21 provides the pressure necessary for said embossing, so that the wear of said repelled surface 16 is constantly taken up, which guarantees the seal of the seal between the axis 14 and the body 15, </ B > space 22 being well isolated from space 23.
In fig. 7 and 8, the embodiment of the device seals the seal between a piston 24 of an engine and its cylinder 30. A cylindrical surface 26, integral with the piston, is constantly pushed against a concentric cylindrical surface 25. integral with the cylinder, by a ring 27 on which a spring 28 acts. 29 is a lever intended to impart a rotational movement to the ring 27.
In this application also, the wear of the surface 26 is constantly compensated for because this surface 26 is constantly pushed back by the ring 27, which guarantees the tightness of the seal between the piston and its cylinder.
