Description

  Faltschachtel.

       diese Schüttrinne in der Abschlusslage fest hält.

  Die     Zeichnung    veranschaulicht ein Aus  führungsbeispiel des     Erfindungsgegenstandes     mit     abgestumpfter        Pyramidenform.    Es zeigt:       Fig.    1 die Faltschachtel geschlossen,       Fig.2    mit geöffneter     Schüttrinne        in          schaubildlicher    Darstellung;

         Fig. 3 ist eine Draufsicht auf den fertig entfalteten Zuschnitt. Die gezeichnete Faltschachtel wird aus einem Blatt, wie in Fig. 3 dargestellt, zuge schnitten oder ausgestanzt. Das Blatt besteht aus starkem Papier, Karton oder anderem, für schüttfähiges Gut geeignetem Ver- hackungsma.terial. Durch Falzung bezw. Um biegen der Blatteile a, <I>a', a',

  Folding box. The invention relates to a folding box made of strong paper, cardboard or other for pourable material such. B. for caster sugar, suitable material.

  Per se, packs for the storage of bulk goods in the form of folding boxes are known. These have the advantage that they can be folded flat when unfilled and stored and transported without taking up significant space. This also results in the need to keep the unfolded box well closed when it is full. The box closure is therefore usually set up in such a way that it simultaneously forms a stiffener for the box.

  The subject of the invention is a folding box made of strong paper, cardboard and other material of polygonal cross-section suitable for pourable material, in which a flap serving as a hinged lid of the blank forms a lid closure and the bottom of a chute and the three sides of the chute Form an extension of three successive side walls of the box, with the gusset corners that can be knocked on the outer side parts of this channel, which

   folded inwards at the lid closure edges, sliding one above the other to form a first closure of the box opening, which is covered by the bottom of the channel wall the size of the filling opening. Advantageously, the bottom of the chute has an extension on its free outer edge which, if it is attached directly to a corresponding extension on the edge of the fourth side wall,

       this chute holds firmly in the final position.

  The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention with a truncated pyramid shape. It shows: FIG. 1 the folded box closed, FIG. 2 with the pouring chute open in a diagrammatic representation;

         Figure 3 is a top plan view of the fully unfolded blank. The drawn box is cut from a sheet, as shown in Fig. 3, or punched out. The sheet consists of strong paper, cardboard or other packaging material suitable for pourable goods. By folding resp. To bend the leaf parts a, <I> a ', a',

  </I> a3 and connecting <I> the </I> or living <I> the same with one another </I> is obtained in the seha.ehfelföz # migen container according to FIGS. 1 and 2.

  This container here has the shape of a truncated pyramid of z. B. right angular, preferably square cross-section, the bottom surface of which ver reliably closed and stiffened by the overlapping flaps e. is. The upper opening, which is used to fill in the bulk material, has the four edges k ', k' '', k3 and k4. A flap serving as a hinged cover b adjoins the edge k 'of the emptying opening and is provided with a retaining tongue b' at the free end.

  The corners between the edges k, 'and k3 of the side walls a and a = and the Seitenkan th of the flap b are respectively through the limiting walls. Side parts D and Dl filled from, -elche advantageously have the form shown in Fig. 3 represents.

   After the outer surface or the blank according to FIG. 3 has been folded into the container shape, the flap b and the side parts <I> D </I> and <I> D '</I> form a chute. The outer side parts D, Dl of this chute can along the dashed diagonals to form gusset corners d bez \\ 1-. d 'folded inwards \ send. as illustrated in FIG.

   If the flap b is closed as a hinged lid over the filling opening, first place the side parts D and Dl along their diagonals around the edges k 'and k3 in the gusset corners <I> d, d' </I> (Fig. 2) which side parts slide over inwards when folding and, since they are drawn through so far in the cut that the outer edges of the gusset corners coincide with the edge k4 of the fourth side wall a3 after folding,

   so they cover the whole opening. Then lies on the folded side parts <I> D </I> and <I> D '</I>, covering the entire filling opening. the flap b. On the edge k 'of the side surface a.3 a tongue c is provided which has the same size - ic the tongue b' on the cover b.

   The edges between the surfaces to be folded can be prepared by embossing or the like so that they can easily be folded into the box according to FIG. 1 - the side parts 1), D 'are also prepared in the diagonals in this way. cl "eat them easily fold into the gusset corners.

    The folding edge k 'between the tongue c and surface a3 is guarded by scratching or the like. "

  The folded box prepared in this way is filled with bulk goods. z. B. filled with semolina. When the cover b is closed, the buckled side parts <I> D </I> and <I> D '</I> then slide over one another, and the tongue b' can be connected to the tongue c by gluing, venous or other means will. You then have a reliably closed Behäl ter (Fig. 1). If the container is to be opened, the lid b is torn open by grasping the two tongues, the tongue c, which is weakened at the folded edge, separating itself from its side wall a 'along the edge k4.

    The lid b then forms with the gusset corners <I> d, d '</I> the pouring chute, which conveniently allows the contents to be poured out without some of the contents being able to run off to the side. The chute, the bottom of which is formed by the flap b, can be easily opened and closed. The preferred truncated pyramid shape of the container enables quick and complete emptying.

  The folding box described can not only be carried out in this form; it should also be able to be used not only as a small pack but also in any size and also for larger bulk goods such as oat flakes and the like.
