Description

Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 192351. Schweissblatt.

Additional patent to the main patent No. 192351. Welding sheet. The main patent no. 192351 relates to a rubber-free welding blade, which consists of a sweat-absorbent and a sweat-repellent layer.

The idea on which this patent is based can now be expanded so that the sweat-absorbent layer is also impregnated. The invention consists in that the absorbent layer is impregnated with solutions of substances which one. on the one hand, facilitate the absorption of sweat and, on the other hand, eliminate the unfavorable effects of sweat.

The absorbent layer can, for example, be impregnated with a solution of a substance, which causes the layer to absorb sweat more quickly and more thoroughly. The layer needs z. B. to be soaked only with a solution of isopropylnaphtalinsulfosaurem soda. In order to counteract the adverse effects of sweat, the layer is soaked with a white tern solution of another substance, for example with borax solution, in order to neutralize the unhealthy effects of the uric acid in the sweat or z. B. with salicylic acid to remove the smell of sweat.
